The night had come again, the night of the hunt, and a full moon shone through the thick trees, lighting the whole atmosphere. Taehyun had returned home, so he could take shower and dress in fresh clothes, then he'd head back to the hospital again to spend the whole night with his lover. He was going to stay there until Yeonjun was discharged, so they could spend each minute by each other's side.

Taehyun dried his hair, then put on his white turtleneck sweater and his skinny black jeans with white sneakers. He then walked down the stairs and entered the dining room to grab Yeonjun's phone from the table he cleaned up earlier.

Taehyun put the phone into his pocket and walked into the living room, ready to go, but then the doorbell rang. Taehyun frowned, not knowing who could have visited them this time, but went to open the door anyway, thinking it could be Huening Kai again or any of Yeonjun's friends.

However, as soon as the door cracked open, Taehyun felt his blood run cold when he saw a pair of heterochromatic eyes staring at him with an intimidating amusement glistening in them. His stomach twisted uncomfortably and his heart started pounding against his ribcage as he stared wide-eyed at the male standing before him. There was no way… No fucking way!

"Missed me, darling?"

Panicking, Taehyun tried to close the door but Beomgyu stuck out his foot and made it impossible for the boy to even attempt to hide inside the house. "Hey, stop that! You know I'll always overpower you, sweetheart ~" Beomgyu said, his smile growing more pronounced when he saw the fear in Taehyun's eyes.

Taehyun jumped back when Beomgyu pushed the door harder and shoved his way into Taehyun's personal space which made the blonde terrified beyond belief.

"What do you want?!" Taehyun cried, pushing himself away from Beomgyu, while the latter took steps forward. "You're supposed to be in jail!"

"The cops annoyed me so I decided to make my own escape," Beomgyu shrugged, taking another step closer. The look on Taehyun's face made him chuckle quietly, "Come on, honey. Don't give me that look. Stop acting like you're seeing me for the first time."

"I am!" Taehyun yelled, his voice shaking slightly as he fought with himself not to cry. He wouldn't cry. He refused! "Because I found out that I have never truly known you!"

"Finding out the truth about me doesn't change anything," Beomgyu pointed out, his amused expression changing to a serious and genuine one, "I'm still the same Beomgyu you used to love. Your best friend. Your dearest love."

"Stop saying that! You're a liar!" Taehyun shook his head, trying hard not to break down in front of the other man. "It's your fault that I tried to kill Yeonjun yesterday! Your fault!"

"No," Beomgyu said calmly, holding both hands up in a placating manner, "I wasn't involved in that incident."

"And you expect me to believe you?!" Taehyun scoffed derisively. "If it wasn't your fault then how do you know what happened to him?"
