The night sky was clear and a gentle breeze blew from behind the tree line. The stars twinkled, but not in the way that you would normally see them in the city; rather they were just right there with you, shining in all their brilliance. The night was calm. The moon's glow was bright enough to make out even the darkest corners of the forest, casting everything into stark relief. The strong wind was still present, as well, whistling through some gaps between leaves and branches. It was rough enough to open the window in Taehyun's bedroom with a loud noise.

The cold gushes brushed against the boy's stirring figure and he huddled further into his sheets. His facial muscles were twisted as if he was in pain, his brow furrowed as if he had a nightmare or something similar. He was letting out occasional whimpers, his breath coming fast and unsteady. He was sweating really badly and gripping the bedsheets.

"He silenced us," he was whispering in his sleep, the words barely audible over the howl of the storm outside. "He doesn't want us to speak... Save him... save him...."

Then he cried out in frustration, his eyes fluttering open.

His expression seemed like it changed, however briefly. It was a momentary shift, but one so noticeable that it was hard to miss. Instead of terror, his face contorted as if he'd had an incredibly vivid vision of the things that would happen if he didn't comply with the order he was given. His whole body was shaking now, though whether from the chill, exhaustion or fear was unclear. All he could see was chaos, screaming faces, blood, fire, terror...

Taehyun shot straight up out of his bed, his limbs sprawled out awkwardly. He let out a series of panicked whimpers as he stood up and looked around frantically as if trying to see something in the dark room. The boy ran blindly forward, bumping into a wall before slamming into a bookshelf and making it fall with a loud bang. His breathing came out heavily, almost as if he hadn't breathed at all for the past five minutes.

He staggered backward again, reaching blindly until his back hit the wall behind him. He was hyperventilating, gasping for air every few seconds. He couldn't breathe right. It felt as though his lungs were being squeezed by someone else's hands. He pressed a hand against his chest, which began to feel uncomfortably hot. He needed oxygen, and he felt like he desperately needed to do something, but he didn't know what it was that he should be doing.

All of a sudden, the door of his bedroom thrashed open and the lights got turned on before Yeonjun stormed inside with a scared look on his face. Taehyun tried to take several deep breaths, but he couldn't seem to get enough air in. He was about to try talking, but Yeonjun was already rushing forward.

"What happened?!" The older man exclaimed in panic as he grabbed the boy hurriedly, scanning him from head to toe as if looking for any injuries, "Are you hurt?"

Taehyun whimpered as he shook his head and looked into Yeonjun's eyes with a teary gaze, "Not me..." He muttered shakily.

A loud crashing noise and screams echoed in Taehyun's brain like an orchestra and the boy choked out a sob as he pressed his hands against his ears tightly to block out the noise without any success. His behavior was scaring Yeonjun so much.
