"Are you feeling okay?" Yeonjun asked as he sat in the driver's seat with Taehyun beside him.

They were on their way to the university campus, but it was hard to get a good look at Taehyun since his head was pressed against the passenger window, eyes shut close. "Yeah, just tired." He mumbled, voice still hoarse.

Yeonjun was very worried about him. Taehyun hadn't been himself recently, and the more time passed, the more tense and anxious he seemed to become. He even started having difficulty falling asleep at night, but even if he managed to drift off Yeonjun could feel him moving restlessly in his arms the whole night. It was like he couldn't relax even for a second without having nightmares. He tried everything: cuddling, stroking his hair, even singing lullabies to him to try to ease him into sleep, but nothing seemed to work. His fiancé was just always restless, like a ticking time bomb, not to say anything about how horrible his nightmares were... They scared not only Taehyun himself but Yeonjun too because the younger would wake up in the middle of the night, panicking and sweating as though he had been chased by something awful. Yeonjun had so much difficulty calming him down and making him go back to sleep.

No matter what he did, he couldn't manage to help Taehyun, so he was thinking of getting professional help for his fiancé.

"Are you sure you want to attend the lectures?" Yeonjun asked as he stared at the road ahead of them. He had stopped at a red light while checking how Taehyun was doing. The younger was still looking out the passenger window instead of at Yeonjun. Yeonjun could see the faint outline of dark bags under Taehyun's eyes and the way his face was pale compared to usual. Yeonjun didn't know how long it had been since Taehyun last got proper sleep, but it must have been really long. "You seem tired, love, I'm worried about you..."

"It's fine," Taehyun answered, finally turning to him. He was smiling, but it looked forced to Yeonjun who knew how difficult it was for Taehyun to smile right now. Even his lips were trembling slightly. Yeonjun felt his heart break, as always. He wished there was another way to make Taehyun feel better. "I promise, I'll be okay."

So Yeonjun sighed heavily and believed him. It was good that they had at least finished their exams because, currently, neither he nor Taehyun was in a proper condition to study.

"You know, I was thinking about something," Yeonjun said and Taehyun hummed in response, eyes still fixed on outside the car. "Since we've decided to actually marry each other, why won't we put on our engagement rings? I mean, we're real fiances now."

Taehyun blinked at him slowly then turned away from him completely, as though he hadn't heard his question. Yeonjun frowned and waited until the light changed before pressing on the gas again. It didn't take him long to catch up to Taehyun's distracted state. "Taehyun."

"You're right," Taehyun answered tiredly, "Let's put them on when we get home."

Yeonjun felt a little sad at Taehyun's lack of excitement and enthusiasm but nodded anyway. "Alright, but I'll have to come home a little late since my last lecture is at 4 pm. Are you okay with being alone at home for a short while? Will you be okay?"
