Tears were running freely down his face as he sat on the sofa with Soobin beside him, holding a glass of vodka and drinking greedily as if it would soothe his pains. He had been crying since arrived at Soobin's house after his fight with Yeonjun and everything Yeonjun told him or did was still imprinted on his mind as a wound that was still open. He wasn't sure why but he was feeling like it was all too much. The only thing he wanted to do right now was to drown himself in alcohol, forget about everything for some hours and be safe from his problems.

"He hit me," Taehyun sobbed softly while wiping his tears away from his eyes, the pain in his chest unbearable to handle. "He hit me but it didn't hurt as much as my heart does now."

Soobin looked at the bruise on the younger's cheek with fake sympathy in his eyes, but inwardly he was happy every time he'd hear that Taehyun and Yeonjun had fought. He just wanted Taehyun to hate Yeonjun more than ever and then hopefully Yeonjun would learn his lesson; then hopefully Taehyun would start noticing him instead of crying over Yeonjun every day.

"He doesn't even feel guilty about cheating on me," Taehyun said as he drank another glass of vodka. "Especially, with Beomgyu. That bastard. They're such horrible people. I don't want to see them ever again."

He was starting to get dizzy, but he couldn't stop himself from pouring another glass because his life was falling apart and there was nothing he could do about it. Soobin just let him drink as much as he needed without commenting or stopping him from making a fool out of himself. It wouldn't be the first time.

"I will never forgive him," Taehyun kept ranting, his voice getting louder and more desperate by the second. "Never, ever... He's so cruel."

Taehyun emptied the sixth glass of vodka he had poured, already feeling the effects of the alcohol. His head was pounding and his heart was beating way too fast but he didn't care. He only wanted more of this vodka, more of anything to numb the hellfire that was burning inside his body.

"He doesn't deserve your tears, Taehyun," Soobin said as he rested his palm against the younger's, testing his reaction and when he found none, he started rubbing slow circles with his thumb. "You'll find someone better someday, you know. Someone who can treat you better than he does."

"How can you be so sure?" Taehyun asked quietly in a shaky voice, finally looking up at Soobin, his eyes red and dazed, and his lips slightly parted a bit.

"You've got a good heart, Taehyun," the older said in what seemed to be a whisper while sliding his hand a bit upwards to his upper thigh, squeezing gently but Taehyun was so drunk he couldn't even notice that Soobin's touches weren't entirely innocent ones. On the contrary, they were too intimate. "Anyone would fall for you. You just need to move on. Forget about Yeonjun, okay? And you'll have someone you can truly love one day, someone who will stand by you no matter how bad the situation gets."

His tone sounded almost pleading as he moved even closer while Taehyun poured himself another glass of vodka and swallowed the contents immediately. There were too many emotions going through the young man's mind right now for him to focus properly on any words that came out of Soobin's mouth. He was drowning, lost in his own thoughts, feelings and fears but he was so drunk he didn't think he would ever remember any of them anyway.
