Theo POV:

"Daaaa Daaaa!" I hear my ladybug yell from the other side of my bedroom door.

Not a second later she bursts through the room, Luna hot on her heels. I've just finished putting on my pants. It's a good thing she didn't barge in a few seconds ago. She would've gotten an eyeful.

"What do you need, baby girl?"

"Wucus wanna cwall Miwa." The baby tells me while trying to climb up onto the bed.

What she's trying to actually tell me is she wants her IPad back so she can call her little friend. She's on a little bit of discipline because she keeps trying to beat West with her cast.

She may be small, but she backs a mighty punch.

"No iPad today, ladybug. You were naughty." I comment as I squat down so I'm at her height.

She stomps her tiny foot on the ground, startling Luna. The poor dog is getting old. Her formally golden brown fur is turning white around her snout and she has a hard time getting off of the floor.

That doesn't stop her from trying to follow Mila wherever she goes. Those two are best friends. I hate to think about what it's going to be like when Luna passes. Mila will take it the hardest.

"Nu Dada! Wan Wucus!" My sassy baby demands.

"If you have a good day you can call Lucus before bed. He's probably sleeping right now. Time is different where he lives." I try to explain.

Mila's bottom lip pokes out and she falls dramatically back on her bottom, crocodile tears already running down her cheeks. She's got the drama down to a tee.

Too bad that it's not working on me. She's going to have to learn that hitting isn't okay.

"Are you hungry? Daddy's going to go down and get you some breakfast."

Hazel is out of the house right now getting her nails done. She deserves a break every now and then. Mila's a lot to handle and she handles the baby all day, every day.

"Kai com?" She asks adorably, her tears completely gone now that I've mentioned food.

"Yes," I reply with a chuckle, lifting her off of the ground, "Kai and West will come to breakfast. Let's go."

Hiking her up further in my hip, I exit the room with Luna behind me. She's panting heavily from her efforts. As I step off the bottom stair, Luna goes to her dog bed. She stops to take a sip from her water bowl right before laying down.

"Are you going to help me cook?"

Mila nods with excitement at my question, clapping her hands. I'm okay in the kitchen. I can throw something together as long as I can read some instructions online. Hazel is completely different.

She comes up with delicious meals just from messing around with new stuff. She doesn't need a recipe book or ingredient lists. It's always impressive watching my wife in the kitchen.

"Don't move. I'll be right back." I warn seriously after placing her down on the counter.

From the corner of my eye, I watch as she wiggles closer and closer to the sink. As long as she doesn't get in and get her cast wet I could care less.

While I'm digging through the pantry for the waffle mix, I start to hear water running. Not a second later and I'm running out of the pantry. I'm too late.

Mila is in the sink, completely covered head to toe in water. Her white footie pajamas are soaked through and so is her diaper.

She splashes in the running water, giggling like crazy while her eyes figuratively sparkle.
