Mila POV:
Mama and Dada are still sleeping. Last night we baked cookies cause Santa's coming! Kai and West even helped by making the dough with Mommy while I sat in my highchair.
West kept giving me all the cookie dough until my tummy hurt. I ate lots and lots, making Daddy snatch it away from me. I cried until Mama gave me her boobie and everything was better.
Now, Santa's here and nobody is awake yet. The sun isn't shining through my window. It's the perfect time to sneak downstairs and get my presents.
Pulling myself up by the bars of my crib is hard because of my new purple cast that I had to get. Daddy took me and I only cried a little bit. He was super proud of me, so he took me to McDonald's afterwards for some ice cream.
It takes me a second to pull myself up. When I do, I throw my leg over the railing, then drop myself down onto the floor. It's only owie for a second.
Running up to my door, I throw it open only to stop. There's a baby gate in front of my door for some reason. Why would Mama and Daddy do that?
Well, it's probably cause I've been sneaking out of my crib at night and going into their room. They warned me they would do this if I kept climbing out.
I go to check the other door that leads to Mama and Daddy's bedroom. That one's locked from the other side. Walking back over to the other door with the gate, I try to climb it but can't.
Throwing myself down on my bum, I whine and kick the gate. It doesn't even move. Whining, I rub my eyes and lay back down on the floor. Mama and Daddy aren't gonna come get me yet.
"Go back to sleep, Mila. Santa hasn't had the chance to come yet. It's only one in the morning, baby." I hear Mama say through the camera in the corner.
"Wan chu and chur bewbie." I whine, standing up and grabbing the gate.
"Okay. You can have some milky, but you have to sleep in your own bed tonight." She says through the magic camera.
I wait with as much patience as I can. Mama and Daddy have been trying to teach me how to be patient. It's not that fun. Why be patient when I can cry and get what I want?
Mama finally gets to the gate in front of my open door, stepping over it to get to me. I'm lifted into her arms and snuggle my face into her neck.
"There you go, pea. Let's change your bum before you have some milk."
I'm carried over to the changing table where Mommy flicks on my nightlight so she can see. She takes off my green elf onesie and untapes my diapee. Grabbing my legs by the ankles, she lifts me up and wipes my bum.
"Phew! You're really stinky, pea." Mommy turns her face until her nose is buried in her shoulder.
Giggling, I try to grab the pack of wipes beside me. Mama shakes her head and moves them from my reach. While I'm busy pouting, she finishes up by taping a new diapee on my bum and snapping up my onesie.
"Alright, chunky stuff. Let's get you some milky so you can go back to bed."
Mama carries me over to my rocking chair and lays me across her lap, lifting up her red shirt. She's matching with my elf onesie. Brothers and Daddy all got matching outfits.
I wish Santa could see them, but he only comes when I'm sleeping. The thought makes me frown. I want to see Santa other than when he's at the mall. When I go to see Santa at the mall, I have to share him with other kids and that's not fun at all.
"Mila, focus on your milk, baby." Mama softly says, pulling me closer to her bare boobie.
I latch onto the pink thingy, sucking until I taste warm sweet milk. While I drink, Mama rubs my eyebrows and nose. She uses her legs to push the rocking chair. The back and forth motion makes me really sleepy.
