  "How do we do it?"

Seungmin sighed as he roamed around the room, searching for stuff that might have been helpful for this process. "We have to be fast, it will be an advantage if we go unnoticed for a few minutes but that might be impossible. Those disgusting people who birthed me are sharpening their fucking claws and are ready to take us down one by one."

Jisung frowned. "What if... what if once I'm gone they will hunt you down? Even though there won't be any chance of harm since I will be gone?"

"Well," Seungmin stopped in his tracks, his fingers hovering over one of the books that were present in the devils' room. Then he slowly turned around and shot Jisung a glare that sent shivers down his spine. "That is highly possible. But it's better if at least one of us has the chance to start over instead of all of us being... well, dead."

Jisung hummed, slowly starting to gather his things as well. They might be useless for him but those things are what he treasures in life, in this afterlife. His hand shot towards the triquetra necklace Changbin gifted him. A thing he did pretty often whenever he felt that nervosity started eating his insides out, crumbling down the walls inside of him. The walls he had so carefully built inside him to keep on being stronger, not to let any of the demons inside him take him down the miserable hole he found himself in his human life.

"Before we go..." he started, his fingers fiddling nervously as he watched the others stop, the pure-blooded angel's hand already resting on the door knob. An indescribable feeling plastered all over their faces as they locked gazes. "I want to thank you all."

Changbin chuckled but his face softened in the process. "For what?"

"For always being there for me, with some of you I might have not started on the best note, but we managed to work it out and I hope some part of me will remember the way all of you held me close and kept me on the surface instead of letting me go and let me drown myself in my own sorrows. I will forever be grateful for what kind of friends you were to me and how much love you provided." Jisung couldn't help but let a few stray tears find their way down his cheeks as he watch a kind smile enlarge on Changbin's face.

"Aw, come here, you softie," he said as he pulled the younger into his embrace, who wrapped his hands around him and let the tears freely flow.

"The thought of me leaving you all here breaks my heart, I would love to have all of you by my side even in the next following years of my life. But I can't, I might be selfish but I can't — "

Changbin shushed him before he proceeded to pat his head. "We have been over this a million times before. No one here is mad at you, all of us understand. It might have been hard trying to understand it and wrap our heads around it, but we did it. It's your decision and we must respect it.  And on top of it all, if you were by any means selfish, you wouldn't be doing this. You are doing this for others and of course, for yourself as well but if it wasn't for the situation we have stumbled into, you would not do it. You are such a brave individual in our eyes."

Jisung sobbed upon hearing the soothing words come out of his roommate's and best friend's mouth. Presumably, he needed to hear that, maybe he needed a little push off the cliff of unsureness and doubts.

"Look at your little boyfriend there, sobbing his eyes out."

For a moment, the angel thought Seungmin was referring to him being a complete mess in Changbin's arms, but when he heard a soft sniffle echo in the room that certainly was not his, he shifted his eyes to where his devil was standing.

  Minho was crying.

The tough devil who rarely expressed other emotions than anger and rage in front of others was now standing there, his face covered with his hands as he let his body get controlled by the sobs escaping his mouth. Jisung let go of Changbin and made his way towards Minho, before pulling him in for a hug.
