Chapter 11: More like her

Gregory's POV:

After Evan injected the serum into me. I blacked out, and Evan caught me into his arms. Then I started to lose consciousness. 

I was in meadow, and I was sitting down. I got up, and I looked around me. I was surrounded tall grass, but not too tall. The grass was up to my waistline, I looked around the meadow. Then I saw a person, but she looked familiar to me. Then she turned around, it was Ivory. My past life self, but how this is possible? I am Ivory.

" I know you have so many questions, Georgia. Yes, you are still me, but in reality, you are my vessel of my soul. Your soul and mine are fused into one spirit, " she said, like she read my mind. Why is she doing here?  But what does she mean? I am so confused. " I know you are confused, my child. But you are a vessel for my soul, and you have my memories. Yes, you were Ivory in your past life. But there is someone I want to warn you about. He is manipulative, and he's pretend to be kind to others. But he is menacing, he will hurt you, Georgia. This is why I am warning you now. Your memories of your past life as Ivory, me, are coming back. But the name she said was glitched, but I knew that person was man. " Who is he? " I asked, and Ivory looked at me with distraught face. " He is dangerous, that man has reincarnated into someone you know. But I can tell you this, it is not Fable, not Eliza, not your parents, not friends, and not your older brothers. He is someone, you know, " she answered, and I was shocked. Then I started to ask her other question.

" What do you mean my soul and your soul are fused? " I asked to her, with confused tone. She sighed, " Before you were born, I need to find a vessel. Because I wanted to have new life, fresh start. But there was a price, I had to fused my soul with your soul. I really didn't want to kill your soul, so I fused. That's how pure soul reincarnate, " she answered, and I was surprised. Then she gestured me to follow her. So I did, and I followed her. 

We walked around the meadow, " Why didn't I get my visions yet? " I mumbled to myself. " Because I am blocking them, for now, Georgia, " Ivory's soul answered. " How, why didn't you do before?" I asked, " Because of the crystals are blocking me from you, " she answered.

The crystals, I remembered, Evan implanted them. " I had them myself, when A̸̺̣̬̫̥̮̝͉̰͕̪͂̾͝ͅḷ̷̛͕̻͎͊́͋͗̀̊̾ę̴̡̪̮̣̗̬̜̗͍͉̓́͆͌̎̾͗x̶̛̲̐̽́̇͗̄ą̷̛̯̪̤͚̣͇͉̝̦͊̀̊ņ̴̡̦̯͚̞̯̙̺͖͔̭̺̈̌́̒d̸̡̛̛͍̱̮͎̩͚̻̱̙̪̱͕̏̈́̇̄̑̌̈̀̋͠ḙ̵̇r̷̛̛̦̻̤͍̬͉͐͆̔͂̋̿͊͌̊̿͝ implanted them into my back and the base of my neck, " she said.

I felt bad for her, as we walked through the meadow. " Where are we exactly? " I asked out of the blue. She looked at me, " We are in Hurricane, what it look like before it before a city/town, " she answered, and it was beautiful. Then she led me to the ruin stone gazebo, but it was fixed. " So we are in past, right, " I said, and she nodded. " Yes, we are, but I need to protect my twin sister, our twin sister, Violet. Or she like call herself Fable, please protect. * Takes a deep breath * You are more like me, now. I want you to be the person, I couldn't be, please stop Evan. I don't want another pure soul war, Gregory, " Ivory's soul said, and I was amazed by her words.

" I promise, I will stop Evan. Even if it's means I have to kill him, right, " I asked, and she nodded. She put her hand out, and I took it. Then she turned into a ball of light, then entered into me.

I jolted awake, and I was back in Evan's bedroom. Why doesn't keep happening? I am mad at myself. But what did Evan injected into my neck? Then I felt a sharp pain went through my back and my neck. The crystals were emerging into me, again. But it's hurt, and I started to tear up. I felt the pain on my back and my neck. I wanted to stop, why does happened to me? I need to protect my friends, the pain is unbearable. I wanted to stop, but the pain was so unbearable for me.

Fable's POV:

I felt the pain that Gregory going through. I need to get out of this cell, I need to help him. I stood up and I took out the key. " Don't, " Eliza stopped me, " We don't want to alert the guards. We don't want to get caught, " she said, and I put the key back in my pocket. Gregory is in pain because of those crystals. I need to protect him, but I have failed. I sighed, and I shut my eyes. I felt hot tears fell down my cheeks.

" I know you are angry, but we need to stay here, " Eliza said, and that made me mad. I opened my eyes, " YOU ARE A COWARD, ELIZA!" I shouted, as angry burn through me. " Claire is right, if we don't leave this prison sooner or later, we mages we be dead soon! We need to get out of here, I am sick and tired of this place. Gregory has to act like he still trusts Evan. But he can't any longer, you think the best way from getting out of trouble is staying here, " I argued at Eliza. 

" Because it's right, we can get out other wa-" " No, Eliza there is no other way. Sooner or later, Evan going to send his army and captured all the mages, then kill them including us. He will not spare us, because we have mage blood, no matter if we beg for mercy or not. He will kill us, " I cut off Eliza.

I sat down near the corner, Claire and Alex probably heard our argument. I hugged my knees, and I started to cry. ' I am becoming more like her ' I thought to myself, thinking about Ivory.

I cried silently so no one can heard me.
