Chapter 12: Why?

Gregory's POV:

The pain was unbearable, I wanted to stop. I wanted the crystals stop hurting me. Then the pain stopped, and I breath heavily. But what did Evan inject into me? What kind of serum did Evan injected into me? Why did this pain happened to me? Why is Evan doing this for ? I kept asking myself these questions, then I heard the bedroom door opened. Then I pretend to sleep, I knew who it was. It was Evan, I need to be keep quiet. I know, I have a lot of questions. But I can't ask him now, I need to keep myself safe from him.

" I know you are awake, my love, " Evan said, and I keep my eyes shut. " You can't fool me, Gregory, " he said, and I want him to think I am sleep. " You are bad at fake sleep, " and I opened my eyes, then I sit up. " I knew you were awake, " he said with a laugh. " I hate you sometimes" I said in a cold tone. He kept laughing at me, I just rolled my eyes.

" What did you injected into me? " I asked out of nowhere, and Evan stopped laughing. Then he looked serious at me, and he went to bed, then sat on the edge of the bed. He looked at me, " I injected a special serum that cause you from you using glamour, and some other your powers. Like rapid healing, " he answered, but I need my rapid healing. I will I survived without it. " I am kidding, just invisibility and shapeshifting, " he said, that's means I can't use my shapeshifting or invisibility. I can't believe Evan will do that, " But it will wear off in 2 weeks, so you are lucky. It's just a little experiment, " he explained to me, he can read my mind. How can I forget?

I sighed, and he got up. I looked at him with cold expression, and I got up. I had a hidden dagger in my drawer, and I kept looking at Evan, as I get my dagger from my drawer. When I got it, Evan said, " Well, I will do my other things, ", then he turned his back at me. Then I used my telekinesis, to control the dagger at Evan. It floated, then it shot towards Evan. Then....

Evan dodged it, " I am impressed you are still trying to kill me, " Evan said, and I was mad as f*ck. " Why are you doing this? Why are you trying to kill the mages? They did nothing wrong to you or your kind, " I shouted at him, and he looked at me, with cold expression. Then he disappeared, ' Oh no, I should start running, ' I thought myself. Then I teleported to somewhere he doesn't know.

I teleported to one room in the company building, where Evan doesn't know of, I think. It was behind the main office, and I am sure he doesn't this place. I really think, I wondered why is he doing this for. I need to know why. I wish I knew, then I remembered the argument me and him had. Then all these memories hit me into the face. I clutched my head, and I remember all the things that Alexander did. I have all of my memories of my past life back, now. I need to talk to Fable about this. I was about to teleport out of the room, then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around, it was Evan. ' Shit, this is bad, ' I thought to myself. He started to laugh, and I knew that I know the truth now. " It took you long to figured that out, " he said, and his eyes were glowing dark ruby red.

I backed away from him, " You really think you can stop me, I told you already, Ivory. You already lost, and all your friends and your older sister is in the prison, " he said to me, with evil grin. Then my back hit the wall, " You are heartless, " I shouted at him, but his expression went cold. I was trapped here, he grabbed my waist, to make me go closer to him. I struggled to get out his grip, " You think you can stop me, * chuckles* you, your friends and Eliza. You can't stop me, I will always find a way to come back, Ivory, " Evan said, and he called me by my past life name.

" I am not Ivory, anymore. It's Gregory or Georgia, " I said as pushed Evan away from me. I can't believe this, Alexander is Evan. " Your Alexander, aren't you? " I asked, with angry tone. He smirked at me, " Yes, I am Alexander. Your past life lover. I was reincarnate into this body, before I found out I was Alexander. I used to be a kind and caring person. But when the bite happened, I started having dreams about memories that weren't find. Then I realized these memories were my past life. I wanted to kill the humans, but they were turned into mages by someone. You wanted them from me and your twin sister. So you turned them into mages, you think I wouldn't know, but you are one smart person. It's looks like I outsmarted you, " Evan explained, and I was back into the wall.

Evan had me pinned against the wall," Why are you doing this, Evan? " I asked as tears started come out of my eyes. He put his hand on my cheek, and he put his other arm around my waist. " Are you going to kill me or something? " I asked as I looked at him. He didn't answer instead he, bite into my neck. I tried to not moan, but-" Ahh~." Crap, I just moaned. I am so dead now, then Evan stopped biting me, " So, you like that, huh?~ How about we take this to the bedroom?"
