Chapter 24: Another clue

Fable's POV:

" So, you are telling us this drawing is the key to our plan, " Evory said to me, after I just finished explaining to them. Then out of nowhere a page came out of thin air. I took it, and I saw it had the same signature. " Another of Gregory's drawing, " I said, and I looked at it. It was dagger, one of the yin yang daggers. " This is a drawing of one of the yin yang daggers, " I said as I showed them, and Lily gasped. " I have those daggers, I was planning to give them to Gregory when he was 25, which he is. But you know what happened, yes, I do have them, " Lily explained, and I was shocked.

" So, all we need to do in order to kill Evan, is give one of the dagger to Gregory. So, Gregory can kill Evan, right, " I explained the plan, they agreed. " But how are we going to get the dagger to Gregory? " Michael asked to me, " We can give it to him, at the party, " I answered. But I am worried some things at truce party, how are we going to blend in with the crowd.

" How are we going to blend in with the guests? " I asked, and Eliza started to smiled. " Don't worry, I got all of you covered, " she answered, and I remember one of missions where we had to blend in once. She had us covered, and we finished in time actually. " Okay, we need to be ready by next week. So let's go over the plan, " I started to explained the plan over again.

Gregory's POV:

I was walking in the halls, and I was thinking about things. I was happy I got the clue to the others in time. My wings are still in pain from all that torture I was put through. But I need to stop Evan, and I was scared that my child will grow up without father. But I need to focused about going to happen. We need to process in the plan, and I was walking around the building. Then I stopped in front of the offices, Cassidy's.

I knocked their door, (In my au Cassidy is non-binary). I waited for them to tell me when come in. " Come in, " said their voice, and I entered the room. Cassidy and Evan were friends, until, Cassidy told me Evan have changed after the bite. They said they wanted to change Evan's heart, but they failed to. So they are spy for Fazbear's. I entered their office, " Hey Cass, " I greeted, and they turned around in their chair. " Hey Greg, how are you? " They asked, " I am fine, but the truce party is in a week, " I answered their question.

They hummed in respond, then sighed. " What happened to your wings? " They asked, and I was silent. I don't want to tell them, " Evan did something my wings, that's all, " I answered, and I looked away. " That's not good, I knew Evan for years. Plus, I know he did some experiment on you, " they scolded me, " How did you know, Cass? " I asked to them. They started to giggles, " Did forget I am the person who sort all the experiments files? " They asked as they laughed. 

I feel very forgetful, and we talked for a bit, then I had to go. I left their office, and I went to find some others clues to stop Evan and his plans. But I need to find an way to stop his experiments on the mages and other vampires. I need stop him, and I went to the door. I entered it, and I went down the stairs. As I got to the bottom, and I went to the experimentation rooms. 

I looked around the rooms, there were not experiments in the room. Then I saw Evan, in a room with a mage. I need to stop this, and I went to the breaker room. I entered it, and I need to shut it down. I saw a broke pipe, and I took it, then I stabbed it through the breaker. Then I ran, out of the room, and I went back up the stairs. I heard Evan groaned in frustration, and I ran up the stairs. I was out of breath when I made it to the top of the stairs. 

I left the door closed, and I went to my bedroom. I unlocked the door, and I looked around the place. I haven't been here for a while, and I looked around. I missed this room, and I went to the balcony. I sighed, and I need to keep Evan out of my plans. I need to protect the others, and I sighed again. I looked at the sky for a bit.

Fable's POV:

" So these are all the outfits, we can find, " I said, as I help Eliza with the clothes. Then we prop it on the table, " That's a lot of clothes, " Claire pointed out, and indeed there were a lot of clothes. " So, we can do this. So, all we need to do is choose our outfits, " Eliza said with calm tone, " But we need to plan still, " Michelle said, with blank expression. " Okay, I will take these upstairs and we can pick tomorrow, " I suggested, and they agreed. I took them upstairs in the secret room, and prop it on the table up there.

Then I went downstairs, I need to ask Lily about the dagger. I went to here, who was at the living room. " Lily, can I talk to you for moment? " I asked to her, and she nodded. As we walked to the upstairs, to her bedroom. " It's about the daggers? " She asked to me, and I nodded, as we entered her room. Then she went to a closet, and opened. It was filled with weapons from the pure soul war. " How? " I asked with amazed look on my face. " Well, my family were pure souls. Until after the pure soul war, one of my members of my family from many years ago. Married a mage, and they had kids. They taught them about the pure souls and the war. Then the line kept going until to me. I was planning to give these daggers on Gregory's 25th birthday. But I wanna you hold them for me until you can give to Gregory at the party, " Lily explained as she handed them to me.

I remember these daggers, they belong to my family. " Your family protect my family's daggers, why? " I asked to her, and she looked at me. " Because your family was dying at the time, and they give the daggers to us until we can give them to you. Someone named Ivory was the one who give it to my family, " she answered, Ivory knew there will be other war against the human, which are the mages. " Thank you, this is the thing Gregory going to use to kill Evan for good."
