"like right now?"i said, rubbing my tired eyes. "yes like right now, get the fuck up!" aguni yelled. me and niragi stood up quickly. "what's your plan?" i asked as the three of us followed behind aguni. "we haven't really thought of one yet." heiys said from behind me. "ohh.." i said, turning my head back around to the front.

we continued walking, hearing gunshots every so often. eventually he starts to get closer, the bullets inches from us, we run for our lives, aguni shooting at him. every bullet was a close call as he walked closer and closer to us.

eventually we all got away, the king of spades still living. we were back in the city. aguni and heiya went back into the woods, to go back to their hiding spot. we sat in an abandoned building, trying to catch our breath.

"we need to go play a game." niragi said in between breaths. "i'll be fine, we can do one tomorrow." i said, panting as well. "are you sure?" he asked, concern in his tone. "i still have 2 days left, i'll be more than fine." i said, my breath finally catching back up to me.

i pulled 2 waters out of my bag, handing one to niragi. "thanks." he smiled, sitting down next to me. i chugged almost the entire bottle in seconds. "maybe don't waste it." he said, pulling the bottle away from my face. "i have like 4 others, we should be okay for a bit." i continued, but still stopped drinking the water just in case.

we sat in silence, not an awkward silence, but a comforting one. i laid my head down on his shoulder. he grabbed my hand, interlocking fingers as we just sat there.

we both eventually fell asleep, waking up the sounds of talking the next day. "should we wake them up?" a woman's voice was heard. i opened my eyes, seeing usagi and arisu in front of me.

"oh hey." i said, stretching out of the position i was in. "shit my neck feels broken." i said, cracking it. niragi groaned, not wanting to wake up. "how did you guys find us?" i asked. "oh we were just walking by, and found you guys sleeping here." arisu answered, me nodding my head in response

"what happened to tatta and kuina?" i asked, noticing it was just the couple. "um.. tatta's dead." usagi answered, looking down at the floor. "what?" i yelled, not wanting to believe what i just heard. "he saved us all in a game we played, but he didn't make it." arisu answered for usagi.

"gosh.. what about kuina?" i asked, hoping she was alright too. "she went to look for chishiya, but she'll be okay, we know it." usagi said, i nodded yet again.

"where are you guys going to go?" niragi spoke up for the first time. "we were gonna go play a game or something." arisu said. "y/n's visa is going to expire tomorrow, so we should go." niragi answered as arisu hummed in response.

"you guys go play one, i'll go to different one." i said, standing up. niragi grabbed onto my hand, giving me a confused look. "what? why?" usagi asked, confused as well. "it'll hurt less if one of us dies, right?" i smiled, assuming they would agree. "plus we might get lucky, i want to find kuina, ann, and chi." i added, the couple understood. niragi didn't want me to go alone, but it was for the best.

i walked into the "prison" grabbing a collar for my neck. putting it on, i looked up to see chishiya. i went over to him, tapping him on the shoulder. "hey!" i said excitedly. he turned around, smiling at me. "hey." he said softly. "i knew you'd live." i said, moving to stand next to him. "and i knew you would too." he replied.

      "let's play this stupid game."
