The female stumbled into the hospital, face wet from tears as her hands were just as wet from sweat
She took unsteady steps through the large room, leaving a dotted blood trail as her vision deceived her with bright lights that pierced her eyes
She wished her thoughts were just as bright as the misleading lights, but why would they be in a situation like this
Her sweat ran cold as her hands roughly landed on the edge of the front counter, her head finally lifting as she made out a blurry image of a woman behind the counter
"Hel...please help m-me" He begged, choking out a sob
And before she knew it, she had collapsed onto the floor, her bruised knees roughly hitting the tiles beneath her and chipping a corner as the shards pierced the skin on her knees
She saw the world turn upside down as the back of her head roughly hit the floor, her eyes traveling to the ceiling as they came in contact with the bright lights
"We need a nurse! Someone get a nurse!" The lady demanded as she scurried away from behind the counter and to the female on the floor
In the span of a few seconds, two nurses were rushing into the waiting area, crouching down to the woman as one placed her hand on her chest
"She's hyperventilating, turn her on her side" the on nurse commanded, helping the other nurse turn her on her side
And that's when it all went wrong
They locked their widened eyes on a puddle of red liquid underneath the female on the floor
The bleeding female soon shifted her gaze down to her own body, her hand weakly pressing on a pained spot
She removed her hand, her heart nearly stopping as she looked at her bloody palm
She felt her body starting to get weak, her mind starting to ease as the only thing she felt was the bullet in her abdomen
"I wa..." She started, a choked up sound slipping through her lips as blood shot out of her mouth. "W-Wanna see...him"
"Who do you want to see. I could call him right now ma'am" the nurse reassured her as she shot the other nurse a look before that nurse went sprinting in search for a doctor
"My...brother" She said but it was barely audible to the nurse and herself
"What's his name ma'am. I can reach him"
What the nurse said next went to waste as the female shut every sound out, almost like she was underwater
She was drowning in a red sea, a place she'd always been scared to be in
She knew what awaited her at the shore, death
That's when an image of a certain someone popped into her mind
Someone he'd been yearning to see for the past month
Her other half, her bestfriend, her reason, her day one, her ride or die, flashlight
Her twin brother
"Hyun...jin..."
Her eyes stared into nothingness as a tear rolled down the side of her face
At that moment, Yeji took her last breath
