Hot Spring

It was a mistake on Sasuke's end to think for a second he would have the chance to just sneak one simple kiss. The bath house wasn't set up remotely close to what he thought it would be. In theory it was more of a hot spring. There was simple set up showers, four to be exact, all in the same room and separate stalls. A shower was to be taken first and then a soak in the hot spring.

He may not have gotten what he was hoping for, but he sure as hell did get a nice view of Naruto in the hot spring. Unfortunately the other two men joined, but Naruto was enough to distract him from them. From the looks Naruto was giving him in return only showed that he was also a very good distraction for him. He had made sure to keep the bandage on his neck hidden as well as possible. He stayed fairly low in the water just letting it be soaked, which probably wasn't his best idea.

Getting out was rather awkward for them all, especially for Shikamaru and Sai, so without further ado, they made their leave first. Leaving the lovers for some privacy, considering the looks they were giving each other, it was clear to them they no longer wanted to stay.

Naruto was propped on a rock stool that was apart of the hot spring, he had his body towel folded up and placed on top of his head. His face was flushed from the steam rolling off the water. When the two men made their leave he sat up from his relaxed slouch. He watched Sasuke swiftly move across the water over to his direction. If his face wasn't already beyond red, it was only getting worse. Sasuke placed his hands on top of Naruto's upper thighs in the water. What was good for the raven, was that the spring was meant to be completely naked. Which really pleased him.

He brought his body closer but not so close that he'd bump into the rock seat under him. Before taking a second look to make sure the area was clear, he leaned in to give that kiss he had been dying for. With no hesitation, Naruto returned the kiss with just as much desire. It was short lived though, since the heat of the steam was causing them to breathe softly as if to save air, they quickly ran out of oxygen. Sasuke wrapped his arms around the blonde, pulling him forward to meet him at the edge of the shelf. Pulling his back away from the wall he was rested on. Sasuke was abundantly lower then Naruto, causing him to be leveled with the blondes chest, which gave him easy access to provide soft kisses all over.

Naruto was smart enough to not do anything to crazy, especially in, what may be called, public place. Nonetheless he ran his fingers through the ravens damp hair before speaking just above a whisper. "Hey Sasuke," he started but stopped, waiting for the man to look at him. "I'm really happy your here." He said while gazing into his eyes. He wanted to say those three special words, but something pulled him away from saying it just yet. It was too soon, at least in his eyes.

Sasuke had a feeling he knew what the blonde really wanted to say but maybe it was considered rude to assume so he took the compliment and just kissed the man instead of saying anything.

When they made their exit, Sasuke pinched Naruto's butt cheek before getting all the way out. "Ouch!" The whiskered man yelped, it may not of been hard but it still hurt from being so skin sensitive after soaking for an hour. The pale man couldn't help but laugh at him. It was so strange for Naruto to hear as many laughs as he has from the raven, but hearing them more often was really starting to feel normal. He loved hearing his laugh and seeing his smile. Something only he got to see, and other people rarely saw.

They all finally made themselves comfortable, adjusted and under the covers ready for sleep. There was four lay outs of a precisely arranged combination of cushions and mats. All aligned next to each other. Sai laid to the farthest left, Shikamaru on his side, Naruto being on his side, and Sasuke on the end. When everyone was assumed asleep, Sasuke slipped his hand into the blonde's sheets, searching for his hand. Successfully finding it, he entangled their fingers. Naruto opened his eyes, since he was already on his side facing the other man's direction, he smiled at him. It was a sweet innocent smile, not his wide and goofy one.

Sasuke loved that smile, that was the genuine one that told him more things then words could. Sasuke was on his back with his head turned, he gripped tighter on the blonde's hand before pulling himself up and over to his side, enough to give him a quick kiss before he fell back to lay down. Earning him an even cuter smile. Naruto worded with his lips 'Good night.'

He felt like a stereotypical school girl, sleeping over at her boyfriends house that she snuck into. The butterflies that corrupted his stomach on more occasions then some, made their appearance once again. He was really coming to like that feeling. It really made him forget the hardships he's had over the last few months. Not that they went away by no means, it couldn't be helped nor forgotten so easily, but he liked to believe that Sasuke made it possible to tame his feelings about those things easier.

When he watched Sasuke's eyes close, he worded 'I love you' to the man who couldn't see him as he drifted into a slumber. It was long after his choice of words, that he couldn't voice, that he fell into a deep slumber himself.

There was no doubt that their arrival in the Sand was tomorrow, which means only two days after that they can go home together. It's a wait till then, but worth it. It wouldn't be Naruto's or Sasuke's first time waiting to be together again. Even so, that gap between them currently was enough to make the two stir around in their sleep the rest of the night, subconsciously fighting the urge to wrap into each others arms.

But by morning it was clear they were like magnets, couldn't keep them apart. Shikamaru could only laugh at how vulnerable his blonde friend looked wrapped up and resting on the pale man's chest. Sai only looked at them with a fake smile as he suggested waking them up. "Yeah probably better we do it now then later, I'd rather be on time in the Sand, I'm sure Temari is near death waiting for me to show up." He said casually, but also mumbling under his breath, "What a drag."

The brown haired man gently kicked the blonde's foot. "Oi, Naruto." He said with a more then loud tone. "Time to get up!" He yelled out but not to loud that the plaza would hear. Naruto only squirmed for moment, until Sasuke woke up and quickly shoved the blonde off of him. "Baka..." he huffed under his breath. "Nnnaaahhhh~" Naruto whined as he grabbed Sasuke's pillow that was exposed after the raven sat up. He pulled it under the covers and wrapped his legs around it like a human burrito. Sasuke only became irritated visibly but really couldn't help but enjoy the way the blonde looked. "Naruto...wake up." He said as he gently push the man's shoulder, rocking him back and forth.

"Okay okay okay...teme stop.." he said before sitting up with the pillow in one arm and rubbing his eye with the back of his other hand. His hair was a mess from being wet and then not brushed, drying over night. Shikamaru held back a laugh that tried to slip out, grabbing his clothes and making his way to the changing room. Sai was already dressed and ready to go, so he headed to the door and put his shoes on. "I'll be waiting outside." He said before leaving the two once again alone.

Naruto yawned wide before getting up and undressing out of the night outfit that was provided by the owners. When he got down to his boxers Sasuke couldn't help but stare. When the blonde finished getting dressed, he had a look of disappointment on his face, and coincidentally the same happened for Naruto, he was rather upset when the pale body that was previously exposed, was covered by a dark blue turtle neck. He had changed the bandage before they all went to bed, but the cut was still pretty raw, so he had to keep it on which wasn't exactly easy to hide.

It wasn't long before they all met up outside and they were ready to continue their mission that was assigned to them. Shikamaru still had the scroll that was to be delivered in his pouch, he checked probably six times every hour to make sure it was still there. He also had a little tiny box that he kept in his pocket at all times too. But that wasn't anything that the Hokage gave him.
