24. Happy day

Okay, so I completely forgot to update yesterday. So I will posting two chapters today for you all.

I sit in the living room finally completing the lunch now only roti's are left and I will cook it when we eat lunch then only. Roti's taste better hot. I open my phone and start scrolling. Arjun is still busy in arranging my stuff like the good boy he is.

I really want to help him but I ended up fumbling and blushing when he asked me about the content in the third bag again. So I thought of setting on the sofa only. M phone rings and I see Priyanka is calling me and a smile instantly comes in my face

"Hello" I said answering the call

"Navikaaaaaaa" she literally screamed in the phone and I took my phone a bit away from my ear

"What" I asked once when she stopped screaming

"I have a big news" she said in such s cheerful way that I could literally see her smiling right now like crazy

"Okay" I said in a prompting way as if asking her to continue further

"Don't okay me ask me the news fast" she said and u chuckled a her excited tone. It must be a really great news

"Okay, Priyanka what is the big news" I asked with a big smile and taking the pillow in my lap which was lying next to me

"You are becoming a mausi" she said and my smile dropped and my mouth opened wide in shock at her answer. I was seriously not expecting this.

"What" I said and soon stood up on my feet

"I am pregnant" she said and I jumped in excitement this time

"Wowww, Congratulations" I said and screamed as I continued jumping

"Navika" I heard his voice and saw Arjun standing at the door of our room and I smiled at him and ran towards him and hugged him tightly

"Priyanka is pregnant" I said informing him the reason behind for which I was acting like a crazy woman. I felt his arms wrap around me as I jumped some more in excitement.

I looked up at him and saw him smiling as he wrapped his hands tightly around me and my eyes moved to his Adam's apple which was looking tempting and I just don't know but I felt like kissing him there.

"I will call you later. I have to inform other people too" Priyanka's voice came breaking my dirty thoughts and I hid my face in his chest as I blushed at my thoughts. I broke the hug after a while and took some steps back looking down

"You look so adorable when you blush" he said making me look up in his eyes by holding my chin. I blinked slowly as I looked him in the eyes and he pinched my cheeks. I swatted his hands away as he dud that and turned around.

"Wait! Let's eat lunch. I have already set up the cupboard" he said and I nodded my head at him and walked towards he kitchen

"I will make the rotis" he said and showed him my palm in a bit dramatic way and he stopped in his tracks giving me confused look

"You have already worked enough for today. Let me do this" I said and gave him a smile and he shrugged but still followed me inside the kitchen

"Fine, then I will just stand here" he said and I gave him a glance and I took out the necessary utensils

"And what will you do standing here" I asked as I arranged the dough in front of me and started the process

"Look at you" he said in a nonchalant way and I just stopped my work for a second and blushed and continued doing my work with a smile on my face all the while.

We sit in the dinning table and start eating our food as my mind move towards Priyanka and the new sweet and cute baby joining their family and I look at Arjun and start to think about the same for us.

"Arjun" I called him in a soft voice and he hummed and looked at me

"How many kids do you want" I asked and he started coughing

"What" he said almost instantly as he started coughing and I moved towards him and started patting his back and passing the glass of water to him. He gulped the water in one go.

"What did you just say" he asked again as he stopped coughing and now sat properly in his seat

"Nothing. Forget it" I said as I moved to my seat. It is still very early for the question. I thought as I moved o the seat a bit embarrassed for blurring out the question so randomly

"I want three kids" he said as I sat on my seat and looked at my plate. My eyes instantly snapped up to meet his and I saw him giving me a sincere look

"Three" I repeated very slowly and blushing again as I saw the intense look in his gaze

"Three" he said confirming and I smiled and continued eating my lunch.

I shift a bit in my sleep as I hear a sound and blink and try to move. I feel a hand pulling me closer and open mu eyes to see Arjun pulling me closer to him in his sleep and trying to snuggle in my neck also annoyed by the sound.

I realize the sound us coming from Arjun's alarm like usual and lift my hand wrapped around Arjun and keep it on my head to remove my hair coming on my face. I look over and see Arjun comfortably snuggled in my neck and our bodies entangled with each other.

"Arjun" I call him and shake him a bit as his alarm rings more and he groans rubs his nose on my neck making me stop my hand that was shaking him and completely freeze out for a second.

"Wake up please" I said softly in his ear after coming out of the shock and he nodded his head and moved a bit to look at me and press a kiss on my forehead before getting away from me and closing the alarm

I look at him sitting and turn to the other side to get some more sleep. I smile as I feel him snaking his hand on my waist again and spooning me. I close my eyes and try to sleep.

"Good morning" he said as I closed my eyes and I hummed I response

"Good morning" I said turning to glance at him a but as he pressed a small kiss on my shoulder and I blushed as the warmth in his lips felt so comforting

He got up after that and went in the washroom while I also got up and sat down on the bed thinking how our relationship has developed in these two weeks. We sleep cuddling with each other every night and hug each other occasionally too.

Though we haven't tried to move any further than these things it still all feels so surreal.
