33. Away from him

I walk towards the site with my interns in toe who all are smiling like idiots as they look around. I also remember my first day. I was so excited to be properly on a site visit and all that was fun for only a day or two until the load of the course burst on me

"So observe around, look at the site and open your brain and start thinking" I said to all of them and they nodded their head before they started working and I smiled as I also started the visit from my side. My phone rand and I immediately answer it as I saw it was the client only.

"Hello" I said answering the call

"Hello, ma'am. I have send my assistant to help you around the city" he said and I nodded my head and 

"Okay sir and thankyou" I said and searched the area again trying to get any inspiration for the project

"Hello, Are you Ms. Navika Maheshwari" a guy in his early 30s said as he walked towards me on the field and I smiled

"Hi, Yes. I am her and it is Mrs. Navika Malhotra now" I said forwarding my hand towards that guy who I thought to be the assistant of our client

"Hi, I am Varun. Mr. Agarwal's assistant. And sorry for the confusion" he said shaking my hand and I smiled at him

"Its okay. Its my fault as I forgot to change my name on the company" I said and he passed me smile shaking his head

"So, what do you need me for" he asked coming forward and I looked around and shrugged 

"Just help us to not get lost in the city, maybe" I said and he chuckled and nodded his head

"As you say" he said and I started back at my work while he kept following me around

"What's that you do on site visits" he asked and I looked at him and made a face trying to think of ways on how to explain this

"We just observe the surroundings and try to get some inspiration from the nearby sites and everything" I said and he nodded his head 

"You can wait in our car or some near by bakery and we will come in some time" I said as he was looking really bored and he shook his head

"I don't have a lot of problem following you" he said and I looked at him narrowing my eys while he passed me a toothy smile

We sit in a restaurant as I try to explain and hear the possible ideas when my phone ring and I smile instantly seeing the caller id and excuse myself from there

"Hello" I said answering the call with a huge smile on my face

"Hello, what were you doing" he replied and I smiled at the cuteness in his tone

"Nothing. I was just  discussing the further course with my interns" I said and turned to look at a chaos on my table and a very innocent Varun looking around 

"You are not back at you hotel still" he asked and I shook my head

"No, we will leave in some time after seeing the night of the city too" I replied though my attention was now on the table

"Is that safe" he asked and I smiled hearing the worry in his voice

"Yes, even Varun is staying with us for the night. I don't think there will be any problem" I said and hissed as I saw two of my interns now arguing about something

"Who is this Varun" Arjun instantly asked and I shrugged with my hand

"Assistant of Mr. Agarwal. Okay, I need to leave. Bye" I said and disconnected the call and rushed to my table to calm down my grown up kids
