32. Horror movie

I walk towards the house with two bags in my hand full with stuff of Khushi and Pratik. I hear lot of voices coming from inside and smile and as I was about to ring the doorbell but stop when I see that the door is already open. 

"Where is Navika?" I heard Shipra bhabhi's voice as I opened the gate and smile walking ahead

"Here" I said as I walked inside and saw a relieved expression on Arjun's face as his eyes roamed all over my body and he took a deep breath

"Chachi" Khushi called running towards me and I smiled as I hugged her to my legs and walked further keeping the bags on the floor and hugged bhabhi and bhaiya 

"Where were you?" bhaiya asked and my eyes met Arjun's as I shook my head

"I just went to buy these stuff for them and I completely forgot about the time" I said and smiled. Bhaiya and bhabhi nodded there head as they looked at me and I smiled before walking into the kitchen with Arjun following behind me

"Are you okay?" Arjun asked walking in the kitchen and we were completely out of their ear shot and I kept on working taking out the stuff to cook a meal

"So we are not talking?" Arjun said when I didn't reply for a while

"Listen, we will talk once they leave. Try and act normal for now. I don't want to create a scene in front of everyone" I said in a very crisp way as I continued my work and saw his my mouth open wide

"So, you don't want us to talk for a week" he said and I nodded my head confirming his doubt and he walked out of the kitchen as Shipra bhabhi walked in and I smiled

"Do you need help" she asked and I shook my head

"Take rest for a while. I will manage" I said and continued my work

It has been five days since I properly talked to Arjun specially when we are alone in the room. I don't even try and neither does he because once when we did we both ended up shouting again. I smile again as I sit in the middle of the sofa 

"Let's do something tonight. We are anyway leaving tomorrow night" Shipra bhabhi said and I nodded my head as that was not a very bad idea

"What should we do?" I asked picking up a pillow to keep it in my lap

"We can watch a movie" Virat bhaiya suggested and all of us nodded our heads including Khushi and Pratik 

"Which one should we watch?" Arjun asked and came to sit behind me while I stiffened and shifted ahead to provide him some space as his thigh brushed against my back

"We can watch Bhool Bhulaiya 2" bhabhi suggested and I opened and closed my mouth. I can't for the life of myself watch horror movies if there is even only one scary scene as they scare everything out of me. I will literally end up not getting any sleep for days

"I don't think that would be appropriate for kids" I said shaking my head and trying to sound very convincing

"Oh they would be alright. I will put Pratik to sleep first and Khushi loves these movies. She is not scared of anything" bhabhi said and I frowned as I started thinking of ways to convince them not to watch this movie

"Still she is so young" I said as this was the only reasonable explanation I could think of other than directly telling them that I am scared of horror movies which my ego wasn't letting me too

"She will be fine. The movie is not that scary except one or two scenes" Arjun said and I felt a lack of warmth as I turned to watch him stand up and leave towards the kitchen and I also stood up immediately and followed behind him
