THE FIGHT WITH JANG UK HAS BEEN going on for days, there were only three gold toads left, and the next contender was none other than Hwang Soo, the heir of the Hwang family.

As for Uk's training, it was no secret that he was improving, Hyejin's training helped him last longer on the fight, but in the end, he still lost. The spells Uk's enemies were using can counter his.

While Hyejin was also improving, she learned that mastering Tansu was really hard. She already learned how to flick energy to her sword but she found it hard to hit a single drop of water. Though she did it a few times by now, it was still hard for her to do it.

But Uk assured her that she can do it in no time, seeing as she already mastered Ryusu, all she needs to do now is learn how to flick energy to her sword while hitting a water drop.

And when Mudeok heard of this, she decided to go with them one time, and when she saw how she gathered her energy perfectly on the sword before hitting the water drop, she knew that Hyejin was close to doing it.

Hyejin was walking down the stairs of Jeongjingak when she was suddenly approached by Hwang Soo, "Young Lady Jang." He called, earning the girl's attention.

"Oh, Hwang Soo.." She muttered before giving him a small smile, "What's up?"

"Well.. I just want to tell you that i didn't want to fight your brother and only accepted because the crown prince asked me to." He said in a fast way, "I don't want you to think that i want the gold toad, my family has enough fortune to buy one, but i just can't say no to the crown prince."

Hyejin chuckled at that, "Don't worry, it's fine." She told him, "I knew that the crown prince would convince every strong mage in Jeongjingak to fight him."

"So, you're not mad that i'll be fighting Jang Uk today?" Hwang Soo asked.

"No, i told you, i already expected it." She responded.

Hwang Soo sighed, "Well i heard that the crown prince took something valuable from Jang Uk, if you want, i can let him win." He offered.

"Normally, i would agreed on that, but i don't think Uk will appreciate it if he finds out that you let him win." Hyejin told him, "Just go easy on him, if he lose, then he'll lose."

"Are you sure?" Hwang Soo asked.

"Yeah, he told me himself that if he will win, he wants to do it on his own accord and without anyone helping him." She said.

"Then i'll do my best to him, im sure that he will too. Besides, i enjoy i good fight." He stated, and Hyejin nodded her head as a response. "So, what step are you on my family's spell? Are you already done with the turning your energy into a blade? Because that's the hardest part."

"I actually haven't started yet." Hyejin muttered.

"Wait, really? I thought you were already starting?" Hwang Soo asked.

"Sang Ho told me that im not yet ready for it." She replied, earning a look of confusion from him. "He's my master."

Hwang Soo nodded, "Ah." He sighed, "Well if he told you that, then it's best if you listen to him. He's knowledgeable enough to know the risk if you force yourself to learn a spell. You could pass out due to exhaustion or get injured."

Hyejin raised her brows, "That.. He didn't tell me." She muttered, "Can you really get hurt if you force yourself to master it?"

"Yes." Hwang Soo replied, "Unlike Tansu, you don't gather the energy to your sword, you gather it on your hands before pushing it with the sword that is also needed to be filled with your energy, if you accidentally cut the flow of your energy to your hand, the blade of energy you created could rush forward, or on the side. It could injure you if that energy hits you."
