CLARE'S POV

As three days have passed by, me and Ed have pretty much done nothing besides reading books Hughes brought us a while back.

**FLASH BACK 1 DAY AGO**

Me: Ugh this boredom is really killing me.

Ed: Same.

I stare at the ceiling and recounted the dots in the ceiling.

Me: 1001... 1012...

Suddenly someone bursts through the door to then realize it's Hughes.

Ed: Hughes!

Hughes: Hey Ed and Clare!

I wave and he smiles back.

Hughes: I just heard that you guys were here. Are you two alright?

Me: Well does being almost sliced up count?

Ed: But we're fine now so no worries.

Hughes: Next time be more careful. We don't wanna loose you both.

We nod and look at the books he's holding within his hands.

Me: Are those police records?

Hughes: Some are yes, but...

He pulls out two books on Alchemy that I've never seen before.

Hughes: I thought you two would want something to read to pass time.

Me: Oh my gosh thank you! You have no idea how bored we were.

Hughes: Been there done that. I know how you both feel kids.

He walks over to me and sits down on my bed.

Me: So why do you have police records then?

Hughes: These are the only books that didn't burn at the first branch. And since all other recordings have been burned... Well there's nothing good to say about the fact that we lost pretty much all of our information of each person we arrested.

Me: Hmm... AHA!

Ed: What?

Me: Sheska.

Ed: Clare you bloody genius.

I smirk and Hughes becomes lost.

Me: Sheska used to work at the First Branch Library. She has a photographic memory and just so happened to read every book in there.

Hughes: Your point?

Ed: Her point meaning she knows all your recordings you've lost.

Hughes: Seriously?!

Me: Mmhm, plus she's currently looking for a job so...

Hughes: I need to find this girl. Do you know where I can find her?

Me: Get Al to go with you to my room. In there you should be a paper on my table with her address and phone number.

Hughes: Thank you so much!

I pass him my keys and Al walks in confused to why Hughes' is holding my keys.

Me: Al can you do me a huge favor?

Al: What is it?

Me: Can you go with Hughes to my room and get the paper with Sheska's address and phone number.

Al: I guess.

He walks back out and Hughes soon follows him, waving at us.

Hughes: See you kids later!
