Pagkatapos namin kumain sa restaurant where Ms. Vivien brought me, napagpasyahan naman niya na ayain ako sa isang ice cream shop.
"You seem happy today, Ms. Viv." I said while eating some of my vanilla ice cream, naglalakad kami ngayon papunta sa kotse niya dahil pauwi na rin kami after we finish both our ice cream.
"Slight?" She chuckled. "I'm happy that I got to be with you after a very long time.. I kinda missed you."
"Nahiya ka pa pong aminin, namiss din po kita."
She nudged me lightly at tumawa ng mahina. "Moon misses you too."
"Should we take him out sometimes po ba? I'm still his parent naman. Babawi ako sa kanya, promise!"
"Sa'kin hindi ka babawi?"
Muntik pa akong mabulunan dahil sa sinabi niya, kahit nakangiti siya ay ramdam ko na seryoso ang sinabi niya and I know that it was because every time na inaaya niya ako ay lagi ko itong ini-indian.
"I'm kidding." Bawi pa niya. "I know there were some instances that my actions confused you, Khio."
Tumigil kami sa harapan ng kotse niya at kita ko ang paghugot niya ng malalim na hininga. If I were to be honest, may mga panahon na naguguluhan talaga ako. But I never questioned her about it, wari ko ay hindi lang maganda ang timpla ng mood niya but now, it seems like may ibang dahilan pa pala.
"It wasn't my intention to hurt or confuse you whenever I.. I try to ignore or say something to you. I sometimes blame myself for doing so."
"I understand po. I know you're worried about me and Ms. Solana's situation, your feelings are valid, Ms. Viv. But I'm happy that you're being honest with me now."
She stayed mum and lowered her head, it feels like she's hesitating to say something but I patiently waited.
"I-It's not just because of that.." She bit her lower lip while staring at me.
"May gusto po ba kayong sabihin?"
Hindi ito sumagot as she shook her head. "No.. you're right. I'm just worried about you."
Even if she says that ay hindi pa rin ako kumbinsido na ayon lang ang sasabihin niya. "Ms. Viv, pwede niyo po akong sabihan ha, my ears are ready to listen."
"Got it, kiddo." She smiles, a genuine one this time.
Pinagmasdan ko lang ang maganda niyang mukha and was glad to see her smile like that again, being with her makes me feel at ease at nakalimutan ko din ang nararamdaman ko kanina after the talk with Ms. Reese.
"M-may dumi ba sa mukha ko?"
"No.. wala naman po. Masyadong conscious, Ms. Viv, sa ganda mong 'yan?"
I could see her face being flushed in red at umiwas pa ng tingin. "T-tara, the night is getting deeper. 'San ba kita ihahatid?"
"Sa apartment nalang po."
She nodded gently as we went inside the car, ngayon ko lang din napansin na mag a-alas nuebe na pala.
A few minutes passed and we finally arrived at my place, akala ko ay hindi na siya bababa para ihatid ako but she still did.
"Thank you for tonight po. Next time, I'll be the one to treat you to a meal." Ngiti ko pa and opened my arms for a hug.
"I'm gonna expect that then." She beams before accepting my arms, the embrace was warm and cuddly that it lasted for a minute, "And thank you for tonight too. It's fun having to catch up with you again."
