Chapter 25 - Bomb

It was later at night, Sidharth was in his room working on his laptop examining the fields, the work has disturbed as well due to the uncalled day off which he took recently.

"Yeh aai kyu nahi abhi tak", Sidharth asked himself as he gazed at the door.

Whereas, Sana was in the kitchen preparing milk for everyone as per their night routine. She has put Aaru in bed and she was preparing herself to face him as well with the milk.

"Sana bas tune jana hein tray side table pe rakhni hein aur bhaag ke vapis aana hein or piche mud ke nahi dekhna hein", she said to herself in her head.

"Unki akhon mein bilkul nahi dekhna hein aur ice cream nahi banna hein", she taught herself.

This milk thing is kind of a ritual among them. Whenever she would get upset, he will make it upto her at this time as she won't let him sleep without having a glass of milk before bed. The bond they shared was always special and the coaxing sessions were common among them too and henceforth this was the actual timing when they would do it the most. If, he is angry then she would make him coffee instead of plain milk and if she is upset he would get a chocolate box for her inside the room so that she can be a child and eat them admist her strict husband's ristrictions.

"Don't fall for chocolates", she reminded herself.

With these thoughts in her head she walked towards his room.

Sidharth heared a knock at the door with a hidden excited yet nervous smile but to his utter disappointment it was Bua ji who stood there with a hesitant look at her face.

"Mein Aajau", Bua ji asked from the door.

"Arey! Puch kya rahe ho, aaiye na", Sidharth replied keeping the laptop aside.

Bua ji entered inside and took a seat at the couch in front of the bed.

"Kya Baat hein aap aise gambhir expressions deke mujhe dara kyu rahe ho", Sidharth asked after a moment of dreadful silence passed among them.

"Mein pehli baar yaha aai hoon janta hein na tu Yeh Baat", Bua ji started and he nodded at her with full attention.

"Mein Tujhe jhooth nahi bolungi or vaise tujhse kuch chupa bhi nahi hein, mujhe Sana kabhi se hi pasand nahi thi tu janta hein yeh baat kyuki Pradeep ke liye mein Parul ko chahti thi lekin phir Tera Baap beech mein agya phir tere liye chaha tha toh tune bhi inkaar kar diya tha or mujhe bus aisa lagta tha ki Sana ne voh ek jagah le li hein joh kisi or ki thi, lekin pichle inn dino mein maine jitna usko jana hein mujhe ni lagta ke hamare parivar ke liye usse behtar koi ho sakta tha, haar gun hein uss ladki mein or itna kuch hone ke baad bhi bahut himmat se kaam leri hein voh. Uski jagah koi bhi or aajkal ki hoti toh bikhar kar khatam ho chuki hoti lekin voh bikharne ke baad bhi khud ko sametne ki koshish kar rHi hein", Bua ji said with a subtle smile at her face and Sidharth felt somewhat proud.

"Baat kya hein", Sidharth asked after a moment of silence passed among them.

"Mujhe yaha isliye bheja gaya tha ki mein ghar ki badi hone ke nate tum dono ko bata doon ki tumhari shaadi ke liye agle mahine ki 12 tarikh rakhi gayi hein", Bua ji told with a sigh and Sidharth looked at her in disbelief.

"A.. Abhi I.. Itni jaldi kyu kaise I mean", he fumbled.

"Beta hum toh saal ruk jayenge lekin baat Pia ki hein tumhare sharik hein voh or jab tak tumhari shaadi nahi hojati aab voh log uski nahi karenge kyuki tum badein ho, joh hona tha voh ho gaya hein lekin voh bhi toh hamari bachi hein or uska byah Pehle se hi Gina hua rakha tha, abhi bhi tarikh age badhwayi hein, teen mahine baad ki, lekin usko mukamaal karne ke liye bhi tum log ko abhi apna sab karna hoga", Bua ji told.

"Sana won't agree", he spoke.

"Tujhe manana hoga beta use", Bua ji spoke placing a hand over his, assuringly.

"Mein force nahi karunga unhe kisi bhi chiz ke liye already bahut kuch unki marzi ke against ho chuka hein", Sidharth said.

"Beta zor zabardasti karni hoti toh phone pe Btaya jaa sakta tha, ya phir mein inn dino mein usse baat kar sakti thi lekin hum chahte hein ki tu usse tasalli se baat karein, Sidharth baat sirf uski nahi hein, bacha bhi toh hein na jisko bada hone mein haar kadam par apne baap ki zarurat hogi or isme koi 2 rai nahi hein ki voh tujhe apna baap Manta hein bahut had tak", Bua ji explained.

"Sana ke sath Yeh sab thik nahi ho raha hein", Sidharth objected.

"Beta thik toh uss baap ke sath bhi nahi hua hein joh khud swarg Jane ka supna dekhne ki umar mein apne jawan bache ko kandha dekar aaya hein", Bua ji said and Sidharth clenched his fists.

"Lekin phir bhi voh insab ko bahut shaanti se handle karne ki koshish kar raha hein or beta uske budhe kandhe bhi jawab de rahe hein toh uski baat ko bhi samjho", Bua ji said referring to Sidharth's father.

"Toh kya socha hein", Sidharth asked after a while.

"Matlab", Bua ji asked.

"Sab saadgi se hoga", he asked looking at her with curiosity.

"Socha to yahi tha or umeed bhi yahi hein lekin beta bacha to tu bhi hamra hi hein na or teri toh pehli shadi hein yeh to", Bua ji said rather asked.

"Koi sosha nahi hoga, court marriage",he said.

"Hamari riwayat nahi hein beta Yeh", Bua ji quickly spoke.

"Thik hein phir mandir mein phere honge ghar ke chaar logo ki mojudgi mein", He said rather declared.

"Beta lekin teri bhi toh kuch khwaish hongi na apne byah ke liye", Bua ji said.

"Meri khwaish thi ki meri bhabhi meri shaadi mein, lo Chali mein apne devar ki barat leke gane pe dance kare or bhai unhe dekh dekh ke gande gande sade hue muh banaye or camera vala voh sab capture kare", Sidharth said with a sadistic smile and a tear rolled down from Bua ji's eye.

Everybody's dreams have shattered and their eyes are enough to say it aloud.

"Mera bacha", Bua ji called hugging him and he let her be.

"Supne sabke toote hein beta, lekin phir bhi agar hum log eksath rahenge toh shayad jude rahenge or insab se bahar bhi nikal payenge",Bua ji said patting his back.

"Papa kaise hein", Sidharth asked looking down at the ground.

"Use zarurat hein tumhari, apne parivaar ki", Bua ji said.

"Hum vaha nahi aa sakte vaha ka mahol, voh jagah, voh sab thik nahi hein",Sidharth said thoughtfully.

"Mein janti hoon beta lekin kuch der ke liye toh aa sakta hein na bhai ko Yeh ehsaas dilane ki uska dusra beta hein", Bua ji asked and he barely nodded at her.

"Koshish karunga", Sidharth agreed.

"Thik hein, bahu se baat karega phir", Bua ji asked.

"Mein baat karunga unhe faisla nahi sunaunga or please unki marzi ke bina nahi hoga kuj bhi", Sidharth requested.

"Thik hein koshish karna ki haan hi ho", Bua ji said.

"Jii", he agreed.

"Thik hein shubhratri! Mein bahu ke paas hoke aati hoon ek baar", Bua ji said bidding bye and left from there.

It was a few minutes later, when Sidharth heared the frantic knock at his door and he opened it in jiffy, sensing the emergency.

"Bua ji kya hua", Sidharth asked assessing her condition as she breathed heavily.

"B..beta v.. Voh b.. Bahu darwaza nahi khol rahi hein", Bua ji told and he ran as if his life was on fire.
