The eerie dark still covered the world as you walked out of the silver SUV and towards the now waiting bus. The weekend seemed neverending as you found yourself marooned in your own home. There was nothing to really do as the lack of a PC or Console in your house left you with nothing to do online. You couldn't contact your friends because your father kept your phone locked up and hidden in his room somewhere. You tried looking when he left to get some groceries you went on a fruitless search to find it before he came home. Your tv only played what was on the cable at the time of day which got boring pretty quickly. You show had ended its season a month ago anyways so it was a bitter effort to even attempt to watch anything else. You had paper back books but reading through them could only entertain you for so long as you could only imagine what your friends were thinking now that you suddenly fell off the face of the earth.

Jack and Louis knew of your situation, after all you three were childhood friends and this wasn't the first time you were isolated like this. However Mia, Ethan, Andrew, and Ronnie had no clue of what could be happening at this very moment. Part of you doubts that you should keep your situation secret from them anymore, after all you had gotten closer to them over the past month and it would be nice for someone from that school to talk to about home life.

The ride was bitter and agonizingly slow as your bus buddy never showed. The academy buses lined up outside the building and dropped you off hastily before leaving. Those who were apart of the special program were often dropped off twenty minutes earlier than anyone else leaving you to sit in the cafeteria. It had been a lucky shot to arrive perfectly on time on the first day, now you had to rely on the inconsistent nature of the bus to either arrive super early or twenty minutes late into your first bell. You sat in the blinding white room as others chattered around you. Honestly you would kill for someone to talk to right about now. You looked at the cafeteria bathroom and saw that it was out of order which gave to the very smart idea to walk around the school to kill some time.

The adult who watch you all was one of the permanent substitutes and was more or less done with his supervision role. Slowly you walked over to him awkwardly as you were more than ready to goof off in the halls.

"Um...excuse me." You started shyly. "Can I go use one of the hallway bathrooms? The one in the cafeteria is closed."

The man only flared at you before nodding his head and confiscating your school bag until you return back. Good thing you hadn't done anything to piss him off in the past or else you knew he would just let you wet yourself if you really had to go.

The school seemed abandoned as you made your way around the halls. The cool dark shadows casted themselves over the clean marble softly as the short rays of dawn pokes through the windows. Your footsteps echoed loudly off of the painted brick walls while your eyes seemed to scan over the multiple classroom doors. Some were cracked open and you could see a teacher busying themselves on a laptop grading assignments.

You turned another corner carefully as to avoid being spotted by one of the teachers that were leaving their classroom on that hall, but as luck would have it you would run into another teacher as you did. Your body  paused before any collision could happen but it didn't stop the teacher from running into you anyways. Both of you managed to keep your footing as you both stumbled backwards slightly. "Y/N..." The teacher called out your name slightly startled by your sudden appearance.

Looking up you see that it was Mr. Hendricks, just your rotten luck. You couldn't help but be slightly flustered and annoyed by having to run into him out of all the other teachers, after all this wasn't the area of the school even near his classroom. "What are you doing? Students aren't supposed to be walking around, why aren't you in the cafeteria?" His strict demeanor never seemed to escape him.

"Oh...hi Mr. Hendricks...." You chuckled lightly. "I got lost....the bathrooms are out in the cafeteria and....now I can't seemed to find my way back..." You carefully lied through your teeth with a fake smile.

"You- y/n..." He sighed heavily. Part of him felt like you were just bullshiting him while the other was already fed up dealing with the troublemaking students this early in the morning. "Your going to stay in my class then, no more walking around in the halls for you."

"But I left my stuff in the cafeteria!" That forced whine only allowed for Mr. Hendricks headache to worsen.

"You can go back for it after the doors officially open." Those where the only sparing words he passed to you as he turned to address someone behind him that you haven't noticed until now. "And you, stop trying to run away! When your in this building I'm the one who is in charge." His scolding was now directed to a pissed off boy with black hair and red eyes, the same red eyes that had freaked you out the other day.

' 'Fuck. Not you...' '

It was a shared swear, both of you making eye contact and thinking the same thing. Jarah looked down at you with annoyance and slight curiosity, wondering what a small bunny was doing hopping around all alone down the halls. You on the other hand where wondering why you had to run into both of these people when there is the rest of the empty building they could have been patrolling.

The walk to the classroom was quiet as you and Jarah took turns sneaking glances at one another while Mr. Hendricks slowly started loosing his patience with high schoolers. Sitting in the classroom entailed the same back and forth in bitter silence.

'Why was she out and about? Did she really get lost?' Jarah could help but wonder as he laid his head down on the desk while looking at you. You were switching between playing with your fingers and staring out the window as you waited for your punishment to be over. 'Its not safe for her to be doing that, expecally with that psycho walking around.' Jarah couldn't help but think back to last year's incident. Truly it was a crazy, stupid, and dangerous job that the young members of the crown were tasked with executing. The deal and exchanges are still iffy on execution but not enough to be considered unfavorable for the gang.

Jarah signed to himself as he continued to stare at you. 'Poor little bunny, there are just too many wolves around here.'
