At the beginning of a new week, Malar skips down the stairs after getting dressed for the day.
"Good morning appa", she greets her dad who was sitting in the hall watching TV.
Malar walks to the dining table and pours herself a cup of water. As she drinks, she hears the news play in the background.
'Music Director Anirudh Ravichander spotted with his rumoured girlfriend outside La Meridian restaurant. He was seen leaving with his girlfriend at around 8 in the evening.'
Malar spits outs the water in shock, as she rushes to the hall.
"W-what?", she yells looking at the tv. But the news had already shifted to another topic.
"Appa, did you see the picture?", Malar asks her father, feeling the panick set in.
"First calm down idukalam ivlo react pannadha. Idhallam yosichi dhane, neenga rendu perum love panninga. Also picture vandhu, neenga rendu perum onna restaurant le irundhu exit ana maari.Sarath Kumar says.
"Yen face therinjitha?", Malar asks worriedly.
"Ama", Sarath Kumar nods.
"Neenga yen ivlo cool ah irukkinga?", Malar asks confused.
Sarath Kumar shrugs, "Anyways theriya dhane pogudhu."
Malar sighs, massaging her forehead.
"Yen di kathura?", Radhika asks as she walks in from the kitchen.
"Ivlom Ani um nethiku veliya ponadhu, oru pic leak ayiruchu.",Sarath Kumar says.
"Yenna? Appo media ku theriyuma?", Radhika asks grinning.
Malar glares at her mother, "Yen ma ivlo happy ah irukke?Nane tension le irukken."
"Yellarkum therinja nalladhu dhane di. Yen indha secret?", Radhika asks.
"Correctu dhan", her dad agrees too.
"Seri na studio ku kelamburen. Most ah oru announcement kudukanum", Malar says rushing out.
With the same speed with which she walks out, she runs back in.
"Yenna di?", her mom asks.
"V-veliya.", Malar says hastily locking the door.
"Yenna veliya?", Radhika asks confused.
"Veliya reporters", Malar sighs sitting on the sofa.
"Yennadhu? Adhu kulaiye va?", Sarath Kumar asks.
"Neenga wait pannunga, na Ani ku call panren", Malar says walking to the balcony.
"Dei? Yenga da irruke?", Malar asks as soon as he picks up the call.
"Hi, studio le, ippa dhan PR team kooda pesunen.",Anirudh says.
"So news patha le", Malar says sighing.
"Hmm", Anirudh says.
"Nerula pakalama? I want to talk.", Malar says quietly.
"Hmm seri", Anirudh says suddenly afraid. Is she going to break up with me, he thought sadly.
"But, yen veetu munnadi full ah reporters.", Malar says.
"Back door edhavidhu?", Anirudh asks.
"Hmm pin vazhi irruku.", Malar says.
"Appo adha use pannu.", Anirudh says.
"Seri, na varen. Bye da.", Malar says before cutting the call.
"Appa na backdoor vazhiya poren. Neengalam veliya ponum na backdoor use pannunga.", Malar says.
"Seri da, pathu po", Sarath Kumar says laughing.
Malar walks into the studio, half an hour later.
"Veliya yen aale ille?", Malar asks surprised.
"Adhan yellarum un veetule irrukanga",Anirudh laughs attempting to joke.
"Seri va okkaru. Na pesanum.", Malar says sitting on the couch
Anirudh sighs and sits next to her.
"Hmm sollu", he asks.
"Namba...", Malar hesitates.
Anirudh holds his breath waiting for her to say it.
"Namba reveal panidalama?", Malar asks finally.
Anirudh's eyes widen, "Idhuku dhan ippadi scene potiya?"
"Ama, nee yenna nenaiche?", Malar asks confused.
"I thought break up", Anirudh says.
Malar glares at him, "Dei, avlo seekram lam escape aga mudiyadhu."
"Theriyume. Appo nee yen kovama pesunen?", Anirudh asks.
"Pinna yenna da, kalaila call panna modhu. Yeppavume call panna modhu, Hi baby nu dhana solluve. Innaiku kalaila verum hi matttum dhan", Malar pouts angrily.
Anirudh smiles at her cuteness before leaning forward to kiss her cheeks,"Sorry baby."
"Paravale paravale. So ippo yenna panlam?", Malar asks
"I'll make the announcement about us?", Anirudh asks.
Malar nods taking a deep breath, "Arjun and Ayira ku sollidalam modhale. Avanga news pathirupanga nu dhan nenaikuren."
Anirudh and Malar gasp in shock, when the studio door bangs open.
"Malar?!", Ayira shouts walking in.
"Yenna di, yen di ipdi bayamuruthira.", Malar asks.
"Nalla vela Inga dhan irruke, veetla yum ille. Phone um yedhukala, yennoda dhan di panre?", Ayira asks.
"Phone silent le irundhichu di", Malar says checking her phone.
"News pathiya?", Ayira asks making Malar nod.
"Yenna panna pore?,Ayira asks.
"We are confirming our relationship.", Malar says.
Ayira squeals hugging Malar, "It's official."
Malar laughs hugging her back.
"If you both are done, Arjun yenga irrukan nu sollu ringala?", Anirudh asks.
"Veliya Sk and Nelson Anna oda pesikitu irrukan", Ayira says.
Anirudh's eyes widen, ivanuga rendu perum ippo yen vanthanga.
