Fall Apart

Chapter 2

Over a couple of weeks I finished the song, Lucas and I wrote it together, mainly in his dorm room. I called it How to Go to Confession. Once I was done writing, I went over to Lucas's room and we did a play through to get the chords right.

"Love me now and love me well

It's your love I crave to know

Before I stand here buried in this unforgiving snow

But I'm pleased to know you at all

(We played with some chords for the next verse)

Fall asleep, but not for long

(I smile at Lucas remembering us sitting in his dorm room writing the last verses together)

We talk about other instruments to put into the background. We both agree on violins. Then I start to head back to my dorm, as I open the door I get a text from Tess, so I respond, she was wondering if we could have a dorm party because her life so far in America has been boring. I wander through the dorm trying to find Evelyn. She is sitting on her bed. 

"Hey Evelyn" I say and then just give her my phone, it's easier than trying to explain it to her.

"Yeah, sounds fun, let's have it this weekend yeah?" Evelyn says.   

I nodded and told Tess. Then she started inviting people. I wonder how many people are going to be there. Better not be too many. I was only planning on a small gathering with a couple friends.
