Change the Future

*POA 4*

Rory was sat in Transfigurations between Fred and George anxiously biting the skin around her nails until it started bleeding.

"Rory stop" Fred whispered grabbing her hands under the desk. "Stop worrying you'll be fine. We can come with you if you want"

"No way the fewer people the better. What if I hurt you or George it's bad enough Remus is going to be there and could get hurt without adding you two to the mix. I'm terrified of that possibility"

"I've never seen this side of you Rory" Ron says making her glare at him.

"Yeah because I hide it obviously idiot"

"Have you ever lost control?" Euphemia asks looking at her granddaughter.

"Twice. Once when I was 15 and once when I was 16"

"Rory you won't hurt anyone. You need to stop thinking like that, it's not helping with your anxiety right now. Just try and not think about it until later and even then don't think of your powers as dangerous" George whispered from her other side.

"I don't know what I'd do without you two sometimes" She smiles at them.

"How comes they're so caring towards you but not me. I'm their brother" Ron sulks.

"I'm their best friend and they love me"

"I'm glad you have them" James says smiling at his daughter as he wraps an arm around her shoulder.

"Come on lets go get some food" Rory says walking into the Great hall taking a seat near the middle of the table Angelina next to her whilst the twins sit opposite them. Harry, Ron and Hermione walk in sitting by them.

"Hey Harry you okay?" Rory turns to her brother who's sat next to her Ron next to him and Hermione opposite next to Fred.

"Just Malfoy again. He won't stop pretending to faint I mean look at him" they all turn and look at the Slytherin table to see Malfoy pretending to faint whilst his group of morons laugh.

"I feel like it might be a throat punch kinda day today" Rory says going to stand only to be pulled back down by Angelina and Harry whilst Fred and George look just about ready to join her "You two suck you know that don't you" she says glaring at Harry and Angelina.

"Prongs I love your daughter" Sirius says smiling at Rory.

"You was going to punch me?" Draco looks at her.

"Yes I was, you got lucky that time"

"Sorry but I'd rather not let my sister have a fight in the middle of the Great hall"

"Not my fault he's a horrible human. Taking the piss out of you all the time and also what he's done to Hagrid someone needs to set him straight one of these days. I'm tired of the bloody blonde ferret. He's just lucky you two stopped me this time"

"Come on Rory let's get to charms before you go to do something else stupid" Angelina says standing up.

"What did he do to Hagrid?" Lily asks.

"Wanna tell them Draco" Rory says looking at him.

"He was teaching about hippogriffs and told us not to insult them and I did. Ended up scratching my arm and I tried to get him sacked" Draco looks down at the floor.

"Fine you guys coming?" Rory looks over to the twins who both nod "I'll see you later Harry, Bye guys" she stands to follow Angelina the twins following behind her.
