Chapter 20

Jayleen's POV:

What just happened Jayleen thought to herself as she looked at Diana. "Diana I-" she started to say but was cut off by Diana stepping back with a shocked look on her face. "I- I shouldn't have done that" said Diana as she tuned towards the door about the leave until I called her name. "Diana wait" I said trying to get up but immediately went back down as the pain started to Rise again. "Mm" I said clutching on to my side as I threw my head back just then I felt a hand on my shoulder and I looked up to see Diana standing there with a worried look on her face. "You alright?" She asked I looked at her and it was like all the pain disappeared. "I am now" I said she just looked at me. "Go on a date with me" I said as I looked her in the eyes she shook her head and stepped back with a sigh. "You don't give up do you?" She asked with a chuckle it was the first time I've ever heard her almost laugh. "I can't date you your my-" she started to say but I cut her off finishing her sentence for her. "Student?" I said already knowing what she was about to say. "I almost died and when I was on that operating table slowly slipping away I didn't think about my brother or my friends not even my father I thought about you......" I said "Jayleen-" she tried saying but I stopped her again. "One date is all I'm asking for if you don't feel like what  I feel by the end of the night then I'll never ask again I'll be just another one of your students" I said she looked at me with a look I couldn't explain.

"It won't be a date I'll be two people going out for coffee" she said I couldn't help but smile "I understand" I said and she smiled. The rest of my day was spent with doctors coming in and out of my room and my brother giving me lecture after lecture. Diana had to go to work so she couldn't stay long although I wished she could.

I spent the past few weeks in the hospital Diana would come by and help me with my work so that I can still graduate on time. She was a lot different for some reason, like when I would flirt with her or make a dirty joke she would smile and laugh instead of glaring at me or lecturing me on how inappropriate it is for a student to talk to her teacher that way. she still had that mean, and distant demeanor and she still valued boundaries so it wasn't like she was completely different just a little less on guard about everything. You could also say that we've grown a little closer from our time here something in which I'm extremely happy about.

I found myself just looking at her as she read the pages from my history book to me. I wasn't listening to a word she was saying I was more wrapped up in how plump and pink her lips were, I couldn't help but feel aroused by how when she would stop to flip the page she would also lick her bottom lip. I was so lost in thought that I hadn't even noticed that she had stopped reading and was calling my name.

"Miss Astor?" She said one last time I looked up at her finally snapping out of my horny daze. I cleared my throat "Sorry what we're you saying?" I asked she just shook her head and closed the book before putting on her serious face. "You need to pay attention your pretty behind on your work" she said I sighed and leaned back in my bed being in this hospital is killing me, I'm bored, tired and horny especially horny everything Diana does is turning me on and it's not like I could just rub one out with all the doctors and nurses steady coming in and out so this is a real problem.

I stared at the ceiling as Diana was lecturing me about my work. "You need to take this seriously" she said I sighed "I know I know I'm just tired of being in this hospital" I said she sighed sadly before looking at me. "I'm sure you'll be able to leave soon the doctors said your looking good so far" she said I sighed again before looking at her. "Not good enough to leave apparently" I said she chuckled and so did I "Can I ask you something" I said she looked at me as if to say go ahead.

"What do you think of me? And I'm not asking as your student I'm asking as an acquaintance someone you know" I asked she took her glasses off and sat them with the book she was holding onto the table beside my bed. "Well I think your bold, a little too direct at times, hardheaded and annoying 90% of the time but also-" she said but I stopped not really wanting her to go on. "Right....thanks that's enough" I said feeling a little heartbroken by her words. "Let me finish" she said and I just looked at her "Your also smart smarter then you know, your kind and understanding, charming annoyingly so and funny from time to time" she said looking me in the eyes. "Anyone would be lucky to have you" she said.

"I don't want anyone I want you" I said looking at her she let out a breath before grabbing the book again. "Alright let's try this again" she said as she put on her glasses completely ignoring my comment. I sighed and watched as she flipped through the pages.
