Y/N x Leah Williamson

Part 6

The next day you are all training. You are feeling a lot better after yesterday and you are training really well.
You are working on pushing forward, you have the ball at your feet and are dancing around all of the defenders. It's just you versus Leah you put the ball through her legs and shoot. Leah is stood watching you laughing and shaking her head.
You score a goal and look at the team who are all watching in disbelief.
Y/n: "what?"
They all look at each other.
Jonas: "y/n you just beat every single one of our defenders."
Y/n: "huh? I did?"
Katie: "how did you not realise?"
Y/n: "I don't know, I just kept going, didn't realise I was getting past that many people"
Leah: "yeah and you nutmegged me!"
Y/n: "whoops"
Leah: "I've never been nutmegged before, ever."
Y/n: "well now you have, by your own girlfriend"
You walk off a bit chuckling to yourself.
Leah walks over to Beth and Viv.
Leah: "how did we not realise she's that good?"
Viv: "your her girlfriend, you should have known that already"
Leah: "we haven't played against or with each other, she's insane"
Beth: "yeah she is"

An hour goes by.
Jonas: "right girls! Training is done for the day, go get into recovery, we will be going on a beach walk tonight so get something to eat too"

Leah catches up with you.
Leah: "hey"
She kisses you.
Y/n: "hey, come with me"
You grab her hand and take her up to your room.
Leah: "babe we have recovery to go t-"
You push her against the wall and kiss her passionately.
Leah: "mhmmm you wanna play like that do you?"
You nod and kiss her neck.
Leah: "babe as much as I love you, we need to go get in the ice bath"
Y/n: "when did you get so boring?"
Leah: "you just call me boring?"
Y/n: "mhm"
You continue kissing her neck.
Leah: "we will continue this later"
Y/n: "urgh fine"
You both head down to the pool to get into the ice bath.
You stand in there for 10 minutes before getting out and heading up to your room with Leah.
You go into the bathroom and brush your hair.
Leah: "who are you trying to look nice for?"
Y/n: "no one special"
Leah: "oh really?"
Leah comes up behind you and puts her hands on your waist. She starts kissing your neck.
Y/n: "babe"
Leah: "what?"
Y/n: "what are you doing?"
Leah: "finishing what you started"
You turn around and kiss her passionately. You push her onto the bed and get on top of her. You lean down and kiss her intensely.
You kiss down her body, she starts getting louder.
Y/n: "do you want people to hear us?"
Leah: "I don't care"
You continue.

After you are both cuddling in bed.
Leah: "wow."
Y/n: "mhm now I need a 40 year nap"
Leah: "dinner in 10 minutes babe, I don't think so"
Y/n: "boring"
Leah: "calling me boring again?"
Y/n: "yep"
Leah gets out of bed and gets dressed.
Leah: "come on, get up"
Y/n: "urghhhhh"
You get up and get ready for dinner. You both head downstairs.
Beth: "have fun?"
Y/n: "huh?"
Beth: "we all heard you"
Y/n: "whoops"
You get your dinner and sit down next to Steph and Caitlin.
You all have a laugh and eat. You are scrolling through twitter when you see comments about you and Leah.
You can't help but read them.
Comment 1: why is Leah with her? She can do so much better.
Comment 2: Jordan will always be the one for Leah. Don't know why y/n is bothering.
Comment 3: Leah shouldn't be with that ugly thing
You can't help but read more of them. They are all aimed at you being ugly and not worthy enough to be with Leah. You throw your phone down on the table and sigh.
Steph: "you alright mate?"
Y/n: "huh what? Yeah I'm okay"
You stand up and clear up your plate. You go out to the pitches again, Steph looks at your phone which you didn't turn off. She sees all the comments and shows Leah. Leah follows you.

You are kicking the ball around and you smash it at the railings above the goal. You scream in anger. You get another ball and do the same thing.
Leah: "babe babe calm down, what's wrong?"
Y/n: "why does everyone constantly shit on me?"
Leah: "what do you mean?"
Y/n: "just everyone seems to think I'm with you for all the wrong reasons"
Leah: "I don't think that, the girls don't think that"
Y/n: "yeah everyone else does though"
Leah: "babe no one else matters, come here"
You walk over to her and she hugs you.
Y/n: "im sorry"
Leah: "hey there's nothing to apologise for"
You kiss her.
You start kicking the ball again and Leah tries to tackle you. You dodge it and dribble past her.
Y/n: "not today babe"
Leah: "you are so annoying!"
Y/n: "what how?"
Leah: "I can't get the ball from you"
You start laughing and run off with the ball at your feet. Leah runs up behind you and picks you up.
Y/n: "hey ref! Red card!"
Leah starts laughing, she puts you down.
You and Leah mess around on the pitch for a while, laughing and taking shots at the goal.

You both go back inside and get ready for the beach walk.
You are walking along the beach with Steph and Katie, Leah is walking with Rafa and Caitlin. You are all chatting about the upcoming season.
You are laughing hysterically at a joke Katie just came out with. Leah keeps looking back at you smiling at you having a good time.
Caitlin: "you love her a lot don't you"
Leah: "yeah I do"
Caitlin: "im happy for you mate, after what happened with Jordan you deserve happiness"
Leah: "thanks mate"

A few more minutes go by, a crowd has started forming as a lot of people in Spain follow Arsenal. The security team are trying their best to keep everyone back. You aren't really focusing on them but suddenly you feel a huge force on your face. Someone has run past security and punched you in the eye. You fall to the ground.
Katie: "yo what the hell!"
One of the security team run over and pull the girl back from you.
None of the other girls in front have seen what happened.
Steph: "y/n, are you okay?!"
Katie is kicking off at the girl that punched you.
Steph: "Katie! Get Leah"
Katie backs off and runs over to Leah.
Leah: "alright mate? Why do you look angry?"
Katie: "someone punched y/n"
Leah: "wha-what?"
Leah looks over at you on the floor. She runs over to you.
Leah: "y/n! What the hell happened? Are you okay??"
Y/n: "im fine im fine"
You try and stand up.
Leah: "no stay sat don't move"
Katie: "the police are on their way, you alright mate?"
Y/n: "guys I'm fine"
Leah: "you are bleeding! You aren't fine"
The girls all come over as the crowd start disappearing.
Caitlin: "you good y/n?"
Y/n: "yup I'm fine"
Jonas: "let's get back to the hotel, I'll get the medics to check you over when we get there"
Y/n: "Jonas I'm fin-"
Leah: "say that one more time I swear"
You look at Leah, she looks at your eye, it's already bruised and swollen.
Leah: "come on"
Leah helps you up and walks you back to the hotel.
Leah sits with you in medical as they clean up your eye. You are wincing as they clean up the blood.
Medics: "right you're all cleaned up, ice it for tonight to reduce the swelling"
Leah: "okay thanks"
Y/n: "thanks guys"
You get off the bed and go straight up to your room. You lay down on the bed and ice your eye.
Leah: "does it hurt babe?"
Y/n: "yeah"
Leah: "you want some painkillers? I've got some in my bag"
Y/n: "no babe I'm okay, thank you"
Leah lays down next to you and puts the tv on. You cuddle up to her whilst she's looking through TikTok. She finds the video of the girl punching you. She watches it and gets angry.
Leah: "why would someone do that?"
Y/n: "do what babe?"
Leah: "punch you, I don't get it"
Y/n: "don't watch that babe"
Leah: "okay okay I won't watch it again"
Y/n: "good"
You end up falling asleep but Leah just watches you because she's worried about you. She is texting the girls.
The messages:
Katie: "how is y/n, Leah?"
Steph: "yeah is she okay?"
Leah: "she's okay, she's just fallen asleep"
Jen: "bless her man, gone through a bit of shit since we got here"
Leah: "she'll be okay, she just needs rest and an ice pack"
Lotte: "hope she gets some sleep, must be painful"
Leah: "yeah she's in pain, she's hiding it though"
Katie: "she always does"
Leah: "yeah I know"

Leah falls asleep a little while later.

The next day you wake up before Leah and look at your eye in the mirror. You touch it and groan in pain. You go down to medical to get a new ice pack, they check you over again for concussion and any other issues. You are given the all clear.
You text Leah telling her you are at the pitches and head there. You sit on the edge of the ground icing your eye.
You look at your phone and see more messages saying you deserved what happened so you turn your phone off.
You stay sat down for a bit then Leah comes out and sees you. She sits next to you.
Leah: "how are you feeling today?"
Y/n: "I'm good, got checked out by medical again, no concussion or other issues so I'm good"
Leah: "let me look at your eye"
You take off the ice pack. Leah looks at it.
Leah: "it doesn't look as swollen, does it hurt?"
Y/n: "little bit, it's just bruised, I'll be okay"
Leah: "I know you will be"
Leah softly kisses you.
