A/N: okay so I'm skipping a few more years, until the boys are both almost 16. Isla is 12

Noah: "MUM!"
Y/n: "what's wrong?"
Noah: "Where are my boots?!"
Y/n: "back door!"
Isla: "he'd lose his head if it wasn't attached to him"
Noah: "I heard that!"
Lucas: "Noah let's go! James is outside"
Noah: "okay bye mum, bye Isla"
They both give me a kiss on my cheek and ruffle Isla's hair on their way out.

Isla: "mum."
Y/n: "yeah sweetheart?"
Isla: "I love football but I erm don't want to do it anymore"
Y/n: "why honey?"
Isla: "well I just no forget it"
Y/n: "Isla, talk to me"
Isla: "I'm getting bullied at school"
Y/n: "what? For playing football?"
Isla: "yeah the girls bully me for playing with the boys at lunchtime"
Y/n: "sweetheart, they are jealous that you are so good. You just need to keep going. Do Noah and Lucas know you are getting bullied?"
Isla shakes her head.
Y/n: "I'll talk to mama when she's home okay? Don't give up your dream because of people picking on you."
Isla: "okay"
She stands up and hugs me. I hug her back and kiss her the top of her head when Leah walks in.
Leah: "my two favourite girls."
Isla: "Mama!"
Isla runs to her and hugs her tightly. Their bond is still so strong, just like when she was younger.
Leah: "everything okay?"
Isla: "mum will tell you, I'm going outside"
Leah: "okay sweetheart, I'll come join you in a minute"
Isla goes outside and Leah walks towards me.
Leah: "hey wife"
Leah kisses me.
Leah: "so what's up with Isla?"
I explain what she told me.
Leah: "she's getting bullied? Do the twins know?"
Y/n: "she says they don't"
Leah: "we can't let her quit because of some girls being mean to her"
Y/n: "that's what I said."
Leah: "I'll talk to her"
Y/n: "okay babe."

Leah goes outside, they kick the football around for a bit. They hug after a while. I know Leah is the one person Isla can rely on, they have that special bond.

Noah's POV:
Lucas and I are walking through school the next day with a few of our mates.
James: "oi Noah!"
I turn around and a football comes towards me. I control it with my chest and balance it on my foot.
Noah: "what was that for?"
James: "just making sure you still have it."
I punch his arm and put him in a headlock.
Isla runs up to me.
Noah: "what's up?"
She looks up and me and she has a black eye.
Noah: "Isla. Who did that to you?!"
Isla points to a group of lads.
I go over and Lucas stays with Isla.
Noah: "who did that to my sister?!"
One of them looks down.
Noah: "was it you?!"
I shove him into a locker.
Noah: "you give my little sister a black eye? You think that's okay?!"
I shove him again.
Lucas: "Noah stop it!"
Isla's crying.
I walk over to her. I kneel down to her height.
Noah: "was it him?"
Isla nods.
Noah: "okay, come on."
I walk her to the medical room.
Isla: "don't tell mama."
Noah: "mums are going to see your eye Isla. There's no hiding that"
Lucas: "what happened?"
Isla: "I was playing football and they kicked the ball to me without me seeing it. It hit my face and they started laughing."
I start getting angry again.
Lucas: "Noah, no"
The school nurse comes in. She says it's nothing major but it might swell up a little more. Isla puts an ice pack on it.
I call mama.
Leah: "why are you calling me when you are supposed to be in school?"
Noah: "I'm in school."
Leah: "so what's up?"
Isla starts crying.
Leah: "why's your sister crying. Noah what's going on?"
I explain what happened.
Leah: "is she okay? Where are you?"
Noah: "medical room, the nurse said she can go home for the rest of the day."
Leah: "okay I'll come get her. One of you stay with her. Noah. No fighting."
I'm the hothead of me and Lucas. He's the calm one. I blow up all the time, especially when it comes to family.
Noah: "promise"
Leah: "I'll be there in 10 minutes."
Noah: "okay"
The call ends, I turn around and see Isla's face buried into Lucas' shoulder.
Noah: "mamas coming to get you."
Isla: "she's going to hate me"
Noah: "she doesn't Isla. She's worried about you"
Isla: "she's going to think I'm weak"
Noah: "she doesn't think that, she's annoyed at the lads that did it to you. It's all going to be fine"

10 minutes later mama walks through the door.
Leah: "oh princess"
Isla turns her face away.
Leah: "no baby let me see"
Isla turns her face and mama sees how bad it is.
Leah: "let's get you home, we will have hot chocolate and cuddles okay?"
Isla just nods.
Leah: "boys get back to class. Noah, no fighting. I know for a fact you're angry because that vein in your head is bigger. Any fighting and arsenal won't be happy."
Noah: "I know I know"
Leah: "good now go."

Lucas and I head back to class. Our teacher asks where we've been.
Noah: "looking after our baby sister, that okay?"
Teacher: "what's with the attitude Noah? Lucas go sit down"
Lucas sits down.
Noah: "my sister had a black eye from some pricks. Of course she takes priority."
Teacher: "language Noah!"
Noah: "I'm not listening to this!"
Amelia comes over to me. She's been my girlfriend for a few years. She knows how to calm me down.
Amelia: "babe, sit down."
I look at her.
Amelia: "Noah, please just sit down."
I nod and sit down.

I don't listen for the rest of my classes. I just zone out and tap my pen on the table.
The final bell of the day goes and I shoot out of the room as fast as possible. I see the kid that kicked the ball at Isla. I see red again.
I charge towards him. He notices me and gets scared.
Amelia: "BABE! NO!"
I stop and stare at him. Amelia puts her hand on my chest and looks at me. She moves her other hand to my face and turns my head to look at her.
Amelia: "you are on your final warning with arsenal babe. Don't do this. Don't give up your dream for this"
I just nod and she hugs me. I kiss her forehead and walk out of school with her.

Leah's POV:
Isla and I have done nothing this afternoon. The twins will be home soon so I get a few things sorted. Y/n has been out all day sorting twins birthday party out.
The twins come home. Amelia is with them.
Leah: "hey guys."
The twins say hi and give me a kiss on my cheek.
Leah: "hi Amelia, how are you?"
Amelia: "I'm good thank you, trying to calm this one down"
Leah: "Noah"
Noah: "I didn't I didn't"
Leah: "good. Mum will be home soon, Amelia are you staying for dinner?"
Amelia: "if that's okay?"
Leah: "of course it is"
I walk into the kitchen. I hear the boys asking how Isla is. They have such a strong bond it's so cute.
Noah walks into the kitchen.
Noah: "mama?"
Leah: "yeah baby"
Noah: "I'm sorry for being so angry. I just can't stand Isla being sad"
Leah: "I know sweetheart I know but you've got to be careful okay?"
Noah: "I know, it won't happen again"
Leah: "good"
Noah hugs me. He's about a foot taller than me.

Y/n: "I'm home! Hi kids."
Leah: "balls I didn't tell your mother"
Y/n: "what happened?! Baby you okay?"
I walk back into the living room.
Isla's explaining what happened. Y/n looks angry.
Y/n: "kids go outside. Your mum and I need to chat."
The kids and Amelia go outside, they start playing football.

Y/n: "why the fuck didn't you call me?!"
Leah: "I forgot, I was more worried about making sure she was okay."
Y/n: "I'd have dropped everything and come home!"
Leah: "I know babe I know, I'm sorry."
Y/n: "her face is ruined."
Leah: "babe, it will heal"
Y/n: "and how long will that take?"
Leah: "a few days maybe, she's okay babe she's okay"
I hug her. She calms down.
Y/n: "I'm sorry I just didn't expect to come home to my little girls face like that"
Leah: "I know babe, I'm sorry"
Y/n: "I'm sorry for shouting."
Leah: "I'm pretty sure Noah was ready to deck the kid"
Y/n: "wonder where he gets that from"
Leah: "mhm."

We both stand at the kitchen window watching our kids playing the game they all love. Noah is hugging Amelia with his arms around her shoulders.
Lucas is picking Isla up and running around the garden with her. They all look so happy.
Leah: "how are our little boys 16 on Friday?"
Y/n: "I don't know, they've grown so much"
Leah: "I know, it's crazy"
I kiss y/n softly. Our life is just so perfect.
