we pull into the parking lot of the studio and i'm very excited for this week
i smile to Miss Abby and we head into the dancers den
"hi girls" Holly greets as me and Chloe set our bags down
"hi" i smile
we soon get called into Studio A for chalkboard
i sit in between Brooke and Kenzie
"Phoenix was rough, you got your butts kicked. Here in Pittsburgh you have won everything but it's clearly a different story when you get on a plane and fly across the country, for years i took the kids myself i made sure their hair was right i made sure the makeup was right, i put the headpiece on..all the moms wanna go now because they are living their dreams through all of you and that's when the trouble happens, i am the leader i am the dance teacher you do as i say when your mothers tell you something else to do that becomes a conflict. Do you understand that?" Abby says
we nod
"now Nia how do you think you did?" Abby asks Nia
"well i think we could improve" Nia says
"what do you need to improve?" Abby asks
"pointing my feet" Nia says
"yeah very sloppy the legs the shoulders same mistakes over and over and that pulls it down" Abby says
"Chloe, the headband was bad. Next time what are you going to do?" Abby asks Chloe
"make sure my headpiece stays on" Chloe says
"could you have prevented that?" Abby asks
Chloe nods
"yes." Abby says
Abby turns the chalkboard around
Maddie

Brooke Camila Nia Mackenzie
i frown, now i'm even lower on the bottom
"okay the new number will be called Electricity, everybody say that" Abby says
"Electricity" we all say though i struggle slightly
"Maddie, because you were great this weekend you didn't give me any trouble, your mother didn't give me any trouble you're going to be in the front in the centre for the beginning of the routine" Abby says
"everybody's goal should be right here, yes?" Abby says and she points to Maddies picture
"okay two solos,will be competing, Maddie you will be doing one of your solos and Chloe you will be doing one of your solos"
i smile to Chloe
"alright everybody up i wanna start this number, moms you are dismissed thank you" Abby says

"up down down switch step, ball change" Abby says as we go over the routine
i do my entrance after Chloe and i do an side aerial into a pose
"one two, push pretty" Abby says to Brooke
"you have to be really hot sexy" Abby adds
i look over in confusion..sexy?
"make it like you're seventeen years old"
we go from the top of the routine
"you set the tone for the whole dance Chloe be amazing" Abby says
after a long day of rehearsals we finally get to go home
