"does anyone know if Abby is going to be here?" mom asks
"i don't think she's going to be here she said that today she's staying with her mom." Melissa says
Gia then comes in
"hey guys, girls can you please go into studio a and start stretching." Gia says
we walk into studio a to start stretching
"do we like Abby not being here?" Eloise asks
"i want her to come back..it's weird why she doesn't want to come back" Maddie says
"it's because we're here." Paige mumbles
"it's so stupid, like you guys didn't do anything." i say
"it's not fair." Eloise says
"it's never fair." Brooke says

Chloe has another solo (though Eloise's mom wasn't happy that Eloise beat Chloe but Chloe got the solo over El)
Asia and Mackenzie have a duet
and the group dance Maddie is the lead
so the usual
OH i almost forgot..Abby still hasn't arrived, shocker.

"one two three four" Gia counts as we dance through the routine
then Abby walks through the door
"hello!" Abby says
i look over to Abby then back to Chloe shocked
"how's it going ladies?" Abby asks
"good." Eloise speaks up
"what are you two doing here? thought you'd sneak in while i was away?" Abby asks Paige and Brooke
"if you have to be here oh you're gonna work you will be doing solos every single week and you will have the exact same amount of time Maddie has to learn them."
we do the group routine for Abby
and it's a disaster
"arms are in the middle of the body" Abby calls out
"that grandete is bad."
"feet pointed underneath you."
we finish the routine and Abby signals for the moms to come down
and Abby dismisses us
"she is not happy to see us." Brooke says
"you guys are apart of the team i don't know why she's mad." Chloe says
"because it's Abby." i deadpan
|Competition Day|
we arrive at the competition
we walk past fans and we head to the dressing room
Abby isn't here even though she was on the bus yesterday
the duet is up first and their costume is adorable
and Chloe comes out in her solo costume and it's really pretty
"i love the costume." i say
"thank you." Chloe says
"alright guys we did it last week we can do it again, Chloe, Asia, Kenzie it's kinda on you right now are we ready? alright let's go" Gia says
we head backstage and the duet and Chloe perform
Asia and Kenzie killed it they were so energetic
Chloe was stunning she really has been proven herself that she's an incredible dancer like she always has been
and Zack performed from Candy Apples and he was very good
we head back to the dressing room and the moms cheer we start getting ready for the group routine

the Candy Apples are up first they enter the stage and it wasn't my favourite routine but they are very good dancers they finish their routine and exit the stage
"up next in the junior small group division this is entry 38 entitled Black and Blue" the announcer says we enter the stage and our music starts i make sure i do everything in time and clean and i have emotion we finish the routine and exit the stage i give Chloe a high five

i take Chloes and Brookes hand
"in third place is number 34 Freedom"
"your first runner up is act number 39 Phoenix Rising"
i squeeze Chloe and Brookes hand
"and your highest scoring elite junior small group is act 38 Black and Blue"
