"hey Cam, do you remember when you did that read through for Cesar?" mom comes into the living room and she sets Clara on the couch

"yeah." i nod

"he called me and said that they are casting for a new upcoming disney film." mom says

"a disney film?" i gasp

"he offered you up because you're the right age and he knows you can sing and they all think you'd be perfect." mom smiles

i look at mom wide eyed

"they want me in a disney film?" i ask

"they do and wouldn't it not be fun? it's something different from dance you actually get to have fun for once." mom says

"yeah it would be fun but i never considered myself an actress or even a voice actress" i shrug

"oh come on you are the most dramatic person i've met." mom says

i gasp

"maybe." i say

"so do you wanna do it?" mom asks

"sure let's go be a disney star for the day" i smile

"wait Cami's going to be on a disney film?" Chloe comes in asking

"apparently" i say

"what movie?" Chloe asks

i turn to mom

"Frozen." mom says

that was weeks ago now i'm standing in a recording booth with a lot of people around me

i face the microphone and i look over my lines

this is all so professional, i wonder if Miss Abby is happy for me...

"okay, ready?" Jennifer brings me to reality

i smile and nod

"alrighty let's go." Jennifer gives me a thumbs up

"Elsa, Psst..Elsa! Wake up, wake up, wake up!"

i then sigh

"I just can't! the skies awake, so i'm awake so we have to play!"

i then gasp as if i've fell

i then gasp excitedly

"Do you wanna build a snowman?"

"come on, come on, come on!"

i then laugh

"Do the magic! do the magic!"

"woah!..this is amazing!" i squeal

"I love you Olaf!" i beam

i then laugh

"ticklebumps!...catch me! again! woohoo!" i cheer

now for the last thing..singing.

"Elsa? Do you wanna build a snowman?"

"come on let's go on play! i never see you anymore, come out the door..it's like you've gone away?"

"we used to be best buddies and now we're not."

"I wish you would tell me why"

"Do you wanna build a snowman?"

"it doesn't have to be a snowman."

"okay, bye."

"well done superstar!" mom high fives me on the way out

"did you have fun?"

"i did, it was incredible" i smile

"you sounded amazing im so excited to hear your voice on the big screen" mom beams

"that will be really weird." i smile

"i'm super proud of you" mom says

"thank you." i smile

in reality, i'm not a disney princess

i'm a nine year old on a hit reality tv show

a show i so desperately want to get out of

i'm kinda of like Anna in a way

trapped, isolated..only knowing one thing her whole life

but maybe i'll be like Anna and get out

maybe the gates will open and i can escape this nightmare.

or maybe i'm just trapped

waiting and waiting for something to change.
