"i think the reason i brought up to you that i wanted to start competing again, i think i just i really missed it it's who i am an i know i said that thousands of times but it's like but it likes me make Chloe these past few years of not competing and not stress have been wonderful but it's like" Chloe says from the passenger seat
"you're getting itchy" mom says as she drives
"yeah." Chloe nods
"plus, we competed before the show and like it was fun then, there wasn't stress i don't remember crying or yelling but it's after that that it was stressful and like we aren't doing it with Abby anymore so maybe it will be different" i say from the back seat
"yes exactly..i guess as time progressed the more intense it got." Chloe says
"and competing is my entire life, dance is my entire life so nice the break was i think i want closure i want to finish it." i say
"exactly" Chloe says
"i can't believe i have to compete against my friends that the weirdest part about it"
"i bet i mean those kids were like family you, Cami and me and it was really disappointing how everything played out and like i would love nothing more than that for you girls to dance with those girls again cause that's where you girls belong." mom says
"it always been us and them, no one else we knew eachother and like i feel like i'll be an imposter amongst the girls now because i didn't grow up with them and stuff." i say
"i know, it's weird." Chloe says
"i want you guys to meet the team and get a feel" mom says
"i'm sure they're all really nice i'm just nervous for the dancing." Chloe says
"i'm sure you are nervous you haven't danced in a while like that." mom says
"like going back to that hardcore dancing just like the pressure because like the competition is coming up soon and you have ti be prepared." Chloe says
"you guys have a reputation you need to make sure Erins choreography fits you so it's just not like good enough it's does it all fit does it make sense, does it work" mom says
"yeah..Cami is classed a prodigy she'll be fine." Chloe teases
"shut up Chloe." i say
"what's a prodigy?" Clara asks
"it's like when you're naturally good at it..like you're naturally good at it if that makes sense" Chloe says
"i hate the word." i say
we arrive at Erins studio and i'm terrified
