it's over, it's done and i'm a bit surprised i did it.

my motivation for this book was so low after season three but i really wanted to finish it
i did enjoy it more in season 7

anyways as this is most likely my final book in the first seven seasons of Dance Moms, i'd like to say thanks

before there was any McKayla Ziegler or Camila Lukasiak there was a Camila Nelson

she was the first ever book i started on Dance Moms

it was a season one to seven book on a completely original girl
she was an Abby favourite and was basically the Maddie of the show
but i started the book at the start of covid so i could not tell you what the storyline was
but all i know is i never finished it, i got to Cheerleader Blues

i stopped enjoying it and i moved on

Camila Nelson has the face claim of Kayla and the name of Cami obv

but then i got the idea of doing Kaylas story

Kaylas book was a two and a half year project and it's one of my most proudest things ever

Kayla is very special to me and i'm so glad that you all loved her as much as i did

but then my friend pitched the idea of doing a Lukasiak version as i loved Chloe and she's my favourite DM girl
and i thought it was perfect

i did procrastinate it for 2 months after i finished Kaylas book as i knew how hard it was for me to finish Kaylas story because i thought it would be another lost project, but i didn't allow myself to stop the book until i finished it so i had the same mindset with Camila Lukasiak

Camilas book took around 5 months to finish as i knew what i was doing this time and i pushed myself to finish more chapters at a time

even though i didn't spend that much time on Camilas book it made me scared that i wasn't as connected to it as i was Kaylas which made me lose motivation to do it but the more i pushed and got on with it i fell in love with her more than i thought i would

so now i have two books of season one to seven of Dance Moms and i think i'm good to say i'm done, i do not think i could mentally start another one from season one..although doesn't mean i'll do a sneaky season eight book..
