The Accident

Aaron, Viral, Ninja and I ran down the steps which led into the monastery and we ran over to the other ninja. "What's happening? Who is it?" Evan asked. "We don't know, we just have to hold it shut..." Lloyd said, stuttering on each word as he had to hold the gate shut with the other ninja. Just after he finished speaking, he along with the other ninja flew back from the gate flying open. I quickly grabbed Jay as he flew to break his fall. All of the ninja except Jay flew into the monastery and fell unconscious. I quickly jumped up to my feet and l  lent Jay a hand to get back up to his feet as well. "Who is it?" Kirb asked as we saw a faint dark silhouette walking into the courtyard. Just as the dust which came from the gates had cleared we saw who the person was. "May?!" Evan asked in a very confused voice. "Yes, Evan..." May said with a smile. Evan then ran towards her but Kirb stopped him just before he got to her. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING KIRB?!" Evan asked furiously as he tried to break free of Kirb who was holding his arms from behind and holding him back from running further to May. "That's... not... May...!" Kirb yelled just as Evan broke free from his grasp and shot a bolt of electricity into him which made him fly into the monastery just next to Kai. "KIRB!" I yelled as he flew away. Without giving it a second thought, I ran to Evan and slid in front of him causing him to trip on me as I zoomed past him. As soon as Evan fell onto the ground, I got to my feet and scraped the dirt off of my suit. "Aaron, get Evan away from May!" I said as May kneeled down in front of Evan. "Viral, do spinjitzu and send her out of the monastery!" I said just as May was about to touch the back of Evan's head. Suddenly a tornado of blue lightning raced towards May and hit her. Just as it collided with her she flew out of the monastery. I then ran to the gates and closed them. Just as I did that, May jumped back up to her feet and leaped to the gates. When the gates had closed I held the locks causing them to activate and the gates had been locked shut. As soon as they had shut I fell backwards onto the ground behind the gates unconscious.

I woke up inside of the monastery along with the ninja, Kirb and Evan the next morning. "Guys? What happened?" I asked as I sat up. "We defeated May," Viral said with a smile. "WHAT?!" Evan asked angrily. I then jumped out of my bed and leaped onto Evan just as he was about to lunge forward onto Viral. "Evan, stop!" I yelled as he struggled to get up because I was on top of him trying to hold him down. Suddenly, similarly to Kirb the previous day, I was flung off of him and thrown into a wall behind me. Evan then became an orb of electricity like before and started to levitate into the air. Suddenly another orb of electricity levitated into the air and faced Evan. This orb wasn't yellow like Evan's, this one was red. I knew just then who it was. But I didn't have time to stop the inevitable from happening. Evan and this red orb flew out of the monastery and into the air. Viral and I chased after them out of the monastery. "KIRB! COME DOWN!" I yelled desperately. "Should I go and stop them?" Viral asked. I looked at him for a moment and hesitantly answered his question. "Just don't hurt them," I said confidently. Viral then burst into a orb of electricity as well and flew up to Kirb and Evan. I looked up at them as the clouds around the monastery turned from white into dark gray. Thunder, lightning and rain started to pour from around the monastery. I knew then that I had to do something. I slowly started to imagine myself in the same situation as before when I returned to life. I felt the bubble surround me and my power run through me. Then I started levitating into the air. I didn't go far only a few inches but it was far enough that I could be in close enough vicinity to absorb their powers. Then I raised my hand into the air where the three orbs were and I felt three slow moving bolts of lightning fly into my palm. Then Kirb, Evan and Viral started rapidly falling from the sky and the clouds started to clear. Just as the three were about to hit the ground I opened three portals under them which took them into the black tunnel and merged their portals into one. Then they all fell out of one portal which opened just above me. When they landed they were unconscious and lying in front of me with closed eyes. "Oops..." I said with a shocked face. "Sensei!" I yelled as I ran back into the monastery to find him.

As soon as I entered the monastery, I saw Lloyd, Kai and Wu talking as they walked around the monastery. They were going on about how unprepared I was. This really got to me, but after hearing Wu tell Lloyd and Kai that I was prepared enough, I felt happy and overjoyed. Then I ran up to them and jumped into their conversation. "Sorry to interrupt, but I think I may have just accidentally erm... did something terrible..." I said as I ran into them. "What?" Lloyd asked suspiciously. I closed my eyes momentarily and lifted a hand before I gestured to them to follow me. The three of them then followed me out of the monastery and into the courtyard. "What happened?!" Kai yelled as we exited the monastery. "I may or may not have absorbed their powers and they may or may not have also passed away, and I may or may not have opened a portal to break their fall..." I said guiltily. "First, stop saying I may or may not have, and second... How did this happen?" Lloyd snapped. "Well, Viral said that we defeated May, which we did do. Then Evan tried to jump on Viral, but I ran and jumped on Evan. Then Evan became an orb of electricity and started to look threatening. Kirb then became an orb as well and the two left the monastery and flew into the sky. Viral and I ran out of the monastery after them and Viral joined the two in their fight. Then clouds appeared above us and I absorbed their powers and then I opened portals which combined into one tunnel and then they dropped there." I said, in one long breath. Kai and Lloyd looked at each other and then back at me furiously. "Well, they aren't dead, I can tell that for sure just by looking at them. But they sure are damaged from the absorption of part of their elements. It would take hundreds of thousands of bolts to awaken them." Wu said with a face of worry. "Does Jay have enough power for that?" Kai asked. "I'm afraid there's only one person who is capable of such power..." Wu said hesitantly. "And who's that?" Lloyd asked suspiciously. "My father..." Wu said in response. Silence filled the courtyard for a few moments before being broken by the slightest few words from Lloyd. "But isn't he dead...?" He asked with a confused face. "Unfortunately so, but there is another. One who is strong enough to wield such power..." Wu said in a slow voice. "Who's that Sensei?" Kai asked. "Well of course, it's the one who holds the sword of creation," Wu responded wisely. "Who holds that sword then?" I asked. "Whoever finds it, and whoever is capable of holding its power, is the one who can free your friends from this state of unconsciousness." Wu said wisely once again. "And we're supposed to find it?" Kai asked. "Yes, of course, Kai. You, Lloyd, Benjamin and Aaron will go on a journey to find this sword. Zane and I will get Pixel back working and the others will devise a plan to save Ninjago from Garmadon." Wu said leaderly. "Okay, Kai, Ben, you guys go get ready and inform Aaron of this new quest we have been assigned." Lloyd said confidently. Kai and I nodded before we ran into the monastery and went to get ready for our quest. "Why do you trust Ben so much?" Lloyd asked. "Well, Lloyd, he's shown much bravery since he first arrived at this monastery. I trust a brave heart to be the wielder of my father's blade." Wu said confidently. "So... He's the one who will wield the sword?" Lloyd asked, confused. "He is the only one capable of the power, he's absorbed a part of Dean's, Viral's, Kirb's and Evan's powers already and is still in one piece." Wu said with a smile. "I suppose you're right, I guess it's our job to make sure that he stays in one piece?" Lloyd asked. "Yes, Lloyd, I trust that you and Kai will be able to defend Ben when it's necessary for you to do so," Wu responded. "How long do we have before it's too late?" Lloyd asked. "Oh yes, you should probably know that before you go. You have about a week to find the sword before Kirb, Evan and Viral lose all hope left for their survival." Wu said. "Okay," Lloyd said just before he ran into the monastery to get ready for his most important job so far...
