I was excited to be part of the trio with the Bash Brother Dean and Fulton. We had been friends since we were kids and had always been there for each other. We were always looking for new adventures to embark on and new challenges to overcome.

One day, a new girl came into town and caught the attention of Dean and Fulton. They were both head over heels for her and couldn't stop talking about her. I felt like I had been forgotten about.

"I can't believe how beautiful she is," said Dean.

"Did you see the way she smiled at me?" said Fulton.

I tried to join in on the conversation, but it was like I wasn't even there.

"I'm happy for you guys," I said, trying to hide my disappointment.

"You should come with us to meet her," said Dean.

We went to meet the new girl at the park, and as soon as I saw her, I understood why they were so smitten. She was beautiful, with long brown hair and sparkling green eyes.

"Hi, I'm Emily," she said, introducing herself.

"Hey, I'm Dean," said Dean, flashing his charming smile.

"I'm Fulton," said Fulton, trying to impress her with his muscles.

"And I'm...," I started to say, but was interrupted.

"Nice to meet you both," said Emily, ignoring me completely.

We spent the afternoon with Emily, and I couldn't help but feel left out. Dean and Fulton were so focused on impressing her that they didn't even notice me.

As we were walking home, I finally spoke up. "Guys, I feel like you've forgotten about me," I said.

"What do you mean?" asked Dean.

"You've been so focused on Emily that you haven't even talked to me today," I said.

"I'm sorry," said Fulton. "We didn't mean to ignore you."

"We're just excited about Emily," said Dean.

"I understand that, but I don't want to be left out," I said. ''I thought we were friends.''

"We are friends," Fulton said. "But Sarah is new, and we want to show her a good time."

"I understand that," I said. "But you don't have to leave me out. We're a trio, remember?"

They looked at each other and then back at me. "You're right," Dean said. "We're sorry. We'll make it up to you."

From that day on, things were different between us. Dean and Fulton were still interested in Emily, but they made an effort to include me in their conversations. We were still the trio, but we had learned an important lesson about friendship and inclusion.

Eventually, Emily moved away and Dean and Fulton came back to me, acting like nothing had ever happened. But I knew things would never be the same. The trio had been broken, and I had been left behind.

Looking back, I realized that the boys weren't really my friends. They only cared about themselves and what they could get out of our friendship. Emily may have come between us, but she also showed me that I deserved better. I learned to stand up for myself and not let others define my worth.
