Nagising ako sa sinag ng araw na tumatama sa aking mga mata na nanggagaling mula sa aking mga bintana. Nag inat-inat muna ako saka tumayo at nagtungo sa banyo upang magmumog at maligo.
After half an hour, I finished taking a bath and looked something to wear. I decided to wore high waist jeans, floral off shoulder and I paired it with my two inches black stiletto.
Hinayaan ko lang nakalugay ang aking medyo kulot na buhok, nag-retouch ng kaunti at kinuha ang sling bag.
Agenda namin ngayon nila Drella at Arry na puntahan ang DelRennaPalla University------ ang university kung saan kami magt-transferee at dito namin itutuloy ang last two quarter ng grade ten.
I went out of my room and went downstairs to eat breakfast. There, I saw Ate Sabel serving our breakfast.
"Good morning ate Sabel!" Maligaya kong bati sa kaniya. "Nasaan nga pala si kuya Itim? Bumaba na po ba?" Humila ako ng upuan at umupo.
"Good morning din EL, bumaba na ang kuya mo, nagpaalam lang kanina at mag gi-gym daw." She said and I just nodded. Kumuha na ako ng kanin, ham at itlog. Gutom na gutom na ako kaya hindi ko na siguro mahihintay pa si Kuya. Pasubo na sana ako nang may nagsalita sa aking tagiliran.
"You didn't even wait for me to eat, huh? Lighht Mayscery?" Said of the baritone voice. Lumingon ako and saw Kuya, sweat. Naupo siya sa harapan ko ng busangot ang mukha.
"Ah...Eh...Gutom na gutom na kase ako kuya." Sabi ko.
He just nodded. "Anyway, did you enrolled already? As far as I know, you'll transfer to another school and continue your last two quarter of grade ten there. Am I right?" Sabi niya at kumuha ng kanin at ulam.
"Kuya Abo, enrolled me last month and yeah.. mag ta-transfer ako." Tumango lang siya at ako naman ay itinuloy na ang pagkain.
"Kailan uuwi sila Kuya Dark? They've been there for almost a year, do they have no plans to go home?" I asked. My parents and my three older brothers have been in Los Angeles for almost a year. Kuya Blhack and I are the only ones left here in the Philippines and some of our long-time and trusted kasambahay.
"Si Kuya Dark at Kaza next month 'ata sila uuwi. I'm not sure."
"How 'bout Kuya Grae?" Takang tanong ko.
"I don't know." He said with a crazy smile and shrugged. Naningkit ang mga mata ko sa kaniya at napatawa lamang siya.
Natapos na akong kumain at ganoon din si Kuya.
"I gotta go na pala, we're going to school today." Sabi ko at tumayo. "Im with Drella and Arryanea." Dagdag ko.
"O--Okay. Hatid na kita sa labas." Sabi niya at tumayo na rin. Naglakad na kami palabas at nakita ko roon si Manong na naghihintay kaya nagpaalam na ako kay Kuya.

MAHIGIT isang oras ang naging byahe bago kami nakarating dito sa University. Sinabihan ko na rin si Manong na sunduin nalang ako mamayang alas dos ng hapon at baka magtagal pa kaming tatlo rito.
Nagkita-kita narin kaming tatlo at heto kami ngayon sa cafeteria ng school, pumipili ng kakainin ngayong lunch. O 'diba, kakakain ko lang ng agahan, lunch na ulit. Malaki ang cafeteria nila--mala foodcourt , kaya samu't saring mga pagkain ang puwedeng pagpilian at kainin. Napagdesisyunan naming sa may Lutong Bahay nalang kami kumain.
"Good morning Ma'am, what is your order?"
I looked at the menu. "Hmm..Half rice at sinigang na isda lang po Miss." I said.
"That's two hundred and twenty Ma'am." Ani ng Cashier. Woah! Why is it expensive? Sa mga karinderya mga isang daan lang 'to o kaya naman ay sixty pesos. Kahit laki ako sa luho kumakain parin ako sa mga karinderya 'no. I took two hundred and twenty from my wallet and I was about to give it to the cashier when she suddenly asked me.
"Are you a newbie or a transferee Ma'am?"
"Ahh...Yes..." Naiilang kong tugon.
"If you don't know and for your information Ma'am, this whole cafeteria does not accept cash. All students here use their credit cards to pay for their meals. So, if you're a scholar we will accept it now but not next time. But, if you are not and you have your credit card right now, you can use it and enjoy your meal." She said bluntly and smiled.
Napatanga kami sa kaniyang sinabi. I took out my wallet to get my credit card and gave it to the cashier. Bahagyang napatawa ang cashier dahil naiilang kong iniabot iyon sa kaniya. Para kaming mga tanga, hindi man lang kami na-inform na credit card pala ang need dito sa cafeteria na 'to!
"Thank you Ma'am." I just smiled. "Your order will serve in five minutes." We left the counter and looked for a table.
We waited five minutes and finally, our food was served. The three of us ordered almost the same except for the main dish of the sinigang.
We started eating.
"It's pretentious here!" Napabuga ng hangin si Drella. "Look, they don't accept cash! What about the scholars? How do they pay? If credit card is needed here? Provided by the school? They are lucky then."
I agreed with that. It's really pretentious here. Paano nga kaya ang mga scholars? If they don't have credit cards?
"After we eat, where are we going?" Arry asked. I took a sip of water and looked at Arryanea who was also looking at me as if waiting for my answer.
I shook my head.
"Helurrrr, bakit mo pa tinatanong 'yan? Duh!" Drella said and rolled her eyes. "Kaya nga tayo pumunta rito dahil may kukunin tayo diba? Not just to eat. We talked about this yesterday, didn't we?" Maarte pa sa maarteng sabi ni Drella.
"I'm just asking Drella. And stop your kaartehan, baka kung ano pang magawa ko sayo."
"Nyenyenyenye." Drella teased.
"Can you two stop? Were done eating, where are we going now?" I asked irritably.
"Oh, before I forget, I met Ms. Javier earlier and she asked if I'm a transferee, of course I said yes. She said I should go to the covered court and find Coach Trei there to get the p.e uniform and our ID." Si Drella.
"So, we're going to court now?" Arryanea aked.
"Exactly."
"To court then." I said and stood up. The two did the same.
