"Dude, seriously? Pitching us in bed together?! We just met!" You ask, slamming the passenger side door.

"Correction, he just met you. C'mon y/n, you've had a mega crush on Leon since we were what, 16? And then he crashes into our apartment? I think that's fate if I've ever seen it," Viv tells you.

"I'm still a stranger to him," you say in a slight whine. "Now let's go, I don't need him lounging around nude waiting for clothes."

...

"Ok, so thats clothes, toiletries, somewhat healthy snacks, and I think that's good," Viv says.

"Doesn't he need underwear?" You ask.

"Oh, yeah, good point."

"Boxers or briefs?"

"Briefs. Boxers are a red flag to me."

"You and your flags. It's just underwear, Viv," you giggle, consciously grabbing a medium size. Hope he fits in these.

What am I going to do? I can't stay in their apartment, sleep in y/n's bed. But... they seemed so welcoming, and I told her I'd stay. They even went to go get things for me.

Y/n has been nothing but a sweetheart. Viv... She's got attitude, but her jokes are welcoming. I just don't want to be a burden. And I'm in a completely different universe, everything I have ever known is "just a game". What do I even do about that? All of this is lunacy.

But at the same time, there's nothing I can do. If I didn't have them, I'd be kicked to the streets. Instead I'm sharing a bed with a kindhearted, beautiful girl who instantly gave me a home.

The water is beating on my back, my nerves going senseless from the constant feeling. I hear a knock on the bathroom door, and I shut off the water. I've been done showering for a bit anyways.

"Yeah?"

"Leon, we're back. I'm leaving your clothes on the bed, ok?" Y/n says through the door.

"Alright, thanks," I say aloud. I open the glass door, stepping out of the shower. I go into her cabinet and find a few fresh towels, neatly folded and pick one. Are those organized by color?

Once dried, I crack the door open and look out from the bathroom into the connected bedroom. I know I have a towel on my waist, but I'm not trying to flash her. On the bed lies a pack of shirts, some new basketball shorts, socks, and briefs. I smile to myself. Glad she didn't get the underwear with patterns. She chose well, I have to say.

"You think my cat would like this bowtie?" Viv asks you.

"I don't think she'd like any clothes, to be honest."

"Hey," Leon says, walking out of the bedroom.

"Oh, hey," you say kindly.

"We got you snacks. But not the good ones, cuz you need to stay in shape or whatever," Viv says with a smirk.

"She means we got you non-junk food. Figured you don't eat that stuff," you explain.

"Ah, thank you. Yeah, I don't favor that kinda food, honestly. You guys didn't have to get all this," he says, a grateful puppy dog look on his face.
