Ep11 - "Family Remains"

"Shit" Kaylnn said as they heard screams coming from the house.

After trying to get the family to leave for their own good with the claim of asbestos mould they'd gone to figure what the hell was going on.

Dean knocks on the door before bursting in. "We heard screams. What's going on?"

Brian starts forward. "Oh, you three!" Then he looks at Dean. "Did you touch my daughter?!"

Dean pulls a face. "What? No."

"Who are you guys?"

"Relax, please. You have a ghost."

"A ghost." He sounds disbelieving. They always do.

Kaylnn nods.

"I told you!" The girl says triumphantly.

"It's the girl!" The little boy— Danny— explains.

"Both of you, relax. What are you guys playing?" Brian asks.

"Your family's in danger. You need to get out of the house now." Dean urges.

The lights go out in the house.

"What the hell?" Another man asks from across the room.

"Nobody move!" Dean shouts.

"Buster!" Danny calls as a howling begins from outside.

The night makes it difficult to make out till they reach the moving truck outside. The words "TOO LATE" are scrawled across it.

"Buster! Buster? Buster! Buster!" Danny yells.

"Not the dog." Kaylnn groans. She'd have preferred one of these morons.

"Go back inside. Go!" Their father shouts.

Dean held up his hands. "We are not the bad guys, but you're in danger."

"First thing's first. You got to get your family out of here." Sam ordered.

"Head to the motel I was talking about. You'll be safe there."

They start to walk towards the cars

"What are you two gonna do?"

"No one's going anywhere." Kaylnn calls from ahead. "Tires are slashed."

"Oh come on!" Dean yells.

She lifted the trunk. "Weapons are gone too!"

Sam looks over her shoulder. "Dammit everything's been cleaned out."

"What kind of ghost messes with a man's wheels?!" Dean complained.

Kate, the family's daughter bursts onto the scene. "What's going on? What's going on?"

Suddenly she lets out a shriek.
Kaylnn covers her ears. "I'm definitely gonna go deaf by the time this job's done. I'm expecting tinnitus at least."

Dean gave her a light dig to be tactful. She ignored him.

"She's there! She's there!" Kate screeched.

"Where?!" Her mother asked turning to where Kate pointed.

"She was right there in the woods!"

"What's a ghost doing outside?" Dean questioned.

"You want to stay and find out?" Sam said and started to herd the family in.

"Everybody inside."

"Are you crazy? We need to get the hell out of here!" Brian protested.
