Chapter 42

The three of them walked inside the store and the first thing they saw many selves filled with stuffed animals. There are teddy bears, cats, dogs, tigers, horses, and a lot more. Then as they walked past that they saw a lot of games and different equipment for different activities like fishing, painting, bird watching, and much more. Cassi thought about it and decided to buy binoculars for bird watching she was also tempted to buy a telescope for stargazing but while thinking about it, the will not stay here that long. So she bought some dandelion oats that are for feeding the unicorns as that is their favorite treat. Because that will make her parents worried. She then continued to browse through the shop other than all the park-related merchandise they also sell jewelry that is crafted by Elvadyn Marcou one of the most acclaimed jewelers of this time. She gawked over all the pretty necklaces and earrings as finding a true Marcou is almost impossible, why had she not heard of this before? With so many of them, the park must have a contract with him. That is when an employee comes and speaks with her. " I see you know your stuff my lady, and you are probably wondering if we have a contract with the famous Elvadyn Marcou." Hearing this Cassi nods as she is very curious. and the Employee answers:" The trough is we just have a temporary collaboration with him, as it turns out his wife simply loves this park so for her 50th birthday he contacted us a wanted to collaborate with us as a birthday celebration to her."

 " Wow, that is so romantic," Cassi answers 

 "It sure is, let me know if you want to buy something."

 " Sure thing," Cassi says and Alzid walks towards her. "If you want something, I will buy it for you, after all this is a date. She says with his usually sunny smile that he uses to trick people, especially people who are attracted to men. Although she did not fall for it she is still touched and excepted the offer so as to not embarrass him she choose a neckless and 2 pairs of earrings.

Once they have bought everything they wanted, they noticed that there was still a room left in the building and when they walked in there is a beautiful natured themed restaurant. With flowers and plants everywhere. Chaires that look like peonies and tables look like elegant mushrooms. There is also a bar with butterflies decorating it. That is when a waiter walks towards them and asks. " Hello esteemed guest, are you eating here or do you want the picnic basket service?" 

"Picnic basket service?" Alzid asks with a smile which makes the male waiter blush. " Well... to our guests here we offer to make them a picnic basket with our 3 suns quality restaurant food. That is actually a very popular choice." The waiter answers. " Realy,  even though the decore in her is so beautiful?" Cassi asks and the waiter responds. " Yes, people come for the park so they naturally want to admire it while eating and drinking. Are you here on a date? If so we have special meals just for couples." Hearing this Cassi blushes while somehow Alzid does too. 'Is he so good at acting that he can even fake bluching?'Annette thought. " Oh, don't be shy this is normal." The waiter says. Cassi then glances over to Alzid to see what he thinks, he smiles at her and nods. " Alright, we will take it." She answers hastily making her look very cute which makes the waiter chuckle. " Alright, take a seat and the picnic basket will be ready in 15 minutes." The waiter says and walks away. And 15 minutes later just in time they come with the picnic basket, Alzid pays and they walk out of the building to explore the park which has plenty of beautiful scenery. They even come across a unicorn who left its herd to greet them, well it seems like he took a liking to Annette as it wanted her to pet him.

Both Cassi and Alzid looked a little jealous but of whom she could not tell, but when Cassi took out the dandelion oats, he quickly ignored Annette so that it could eat the oats. After that Cassi did some bird watching until she finally got hungry and began the picnic. In the picnic bag there are a lot of heart-shaped sandwiches, chocolate-covered strawberries, rose lemonade, red and pink heart-shaped cookies with strawberry and dragon fruit flavors, and for last wine flavored velvet cake muffins. As they ate after a while Annette notices something strange, although there are not many peapole right now in the park, there should they should meet someone who is not an employee by now. After all, they did not book the whole park for themselves. Then after a while, she noticed a faint smell. She has not noticed it before but when she did discover it she know that this smell has been there for quite a while now. That smell should not come from the plants here and it certainly did not come from the food. Then what is it? She did not realize what it was until it suddenly hit her. This is a knockout drug! Then suddenly she saw a siverly light headed towards Cassi, she hurriedly jumped up and pushed Cassi away and just in time to. That silvery light is an arrow.
