cyno had a plan to pour his heart out to his crush. step one was to find a cozy spot where he could finally spill the beans. no more hiding feelings!

step two was to keep his nerves in check; no room for awkwardness.

and the third and most important step, he vowed to speak straight from his heart, completely sincere and genuine.

but how would he be able to do the steps in mind when he found himself in a position where (name)'s classmates from inazuma where happened to be attending the carnival at the same time they did?

but as luck would have it, just when he wanted to execute these steps, fate threw a curveball at him. at the carnival, he spotted some of (name)'s classmates from inazuma, including sara, itto, heizou, and ayaka. talk about bad timing.

feeling flustered, cyno found himself standing on the sidelines, sighing heavily as he watched the girl of his dreams chatting away with her friends. he was lost in thoughts, pondering how to proceed.

just as he was deep in his own world, (name) called out his name in that oh-so-soft way that could make him weak in the knees. yet, he knew he couldn't show that vulnerability in front of her friends.

"cyno! would it be alright if they join us?" (name) asked, excited to introduce her friends to the famous cyno, whom she had been gushing about in their group chat.

and just like that, cyno's grand plans turned to dust. now he was back to square one, wondering how the heck he'd ever manage to ask her out properly.

his brain was a mix of confusion and worry, but, hey, he eventually agreed, even though he hesitated a bit.

"sure, go ahead, no problem." cyno replied. liar. deep down, he knew he was lying through his teeth.

despite his outward agreement, his mind was in turmoil. all he wanted was to spend some quality time alone with (name) and pour his heart out.

but now, with her friends tagging along, he couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment and frustration.

the towering guy suddenly approached cyno, his face beaming with a radiant smile as he introduced himself.

his eyes sparkled with admiration like he was meeting his lifelong idol.

the group then embarked on a lively stroll through the bustling carnival. itto, the life of the party, engaged cyno in enthusiastic conversation, while (name) chatted with her two girl friends. heizou walked alongside cyno, listening in to itto's antics.

"hey, check that out! is that the unicorn plushie from minions?" itto's sentence trailed off as his eyes landed on a familiar plushie at one of the game stands.

the group paused as itto eagerly slammed some mora on the counter, determined to win the unicorn.

the violet-headed girl shook her head, crossing her arms with a sigh. "you're just going to waste your money on this scam," she pointed out, but itto brushed off her comment, determination in his eyes.
