2005:

Although I should've been focused on fighting, I had a completely different agenda. My eyes darted around furiously, as I took out anyone who got in close, while I was trying to search for my best friend.

What the hell?! I just saw her five seconds ago!

Knowing that Hanma was the last person who was with her, literally holding onto her by her hair, I fought my way through to that area.

As another Valhalla member charged me from behind, I let out a sigh, as I stepped to the side, grabbed onto the guy's arm, and flipped him with the momentum from his own failed strike. "You're wasting my time!"

I quickly became more frustrated, as boys around my age continued to swarm me, thinking I was easy to take down. It made me feel like I was reliving the fight at the shrine, back in August.

Another guy came at me, charging with a right hook. Unamused, I dropped to the ground, swinging my leg to knock him off balance.

They may have numbers, but they still suck. Katsumi, where are you?

After knocking out at least a dozen more Valhalla members, I noticed a small body lying beside an old, blue car.

"Katsumi!" Running up to the black-haired girl, I kneeled down to her and violently shook her shoulders. "Are you alive?!"

"Shut up," she grumbled. "My head's killing me."

"I'm glad to see that you're still breathing." I smiled, as I loosely hugged the injured girl. "I'm really sorry. I wish I was able to do something sooner."

"I'm still breathing, and they didn't hurt me after Baji's initiation, so I'm chilling."

"That's still concerning." I unbuttoned my Toman jacket, before draping it over the girl. "Taking your clothes was overkill."

The material that Mitsuya uses to make these uniforms are somewhat heavy, so I usually wear a tank top underneath. It wasn't like I could just go shirtless like a guy.

I re-entered the fight, making sure that I was still close to Katsumi, since she wasn't in good shape. Two more guys charged at me, only to be taken down with a punch to the face.

They really need to up the standards for new gang members. Yikes.

Glancing at my surroundings, I realized that our members weren't doing well either. It wasn't that they couldn't fight, they were just severely outnumbered. Only the captains, plus Draken, Mikey, and I, were making a dent.

One-hundred-and-fifty Toman members versus three-hundred Valhalla members. The odds are stacked against us.

Just as I roundhouse kicked another guy in the skull, I noticed that a large group of boys in Valhalla jackets suddenly froze.

"Ahhhh!" Yelled Takemichi, who was aimlessly circling his arms through the crowd, like a madman.

He looks like an idiot, but at least his "war cry" found Draken for me.

Sneaking back over to my best friend, I lifted her up onto my back, and carried her back towards the entrance, where she would be somewhat safer.

Now free, I rushed over to the boy with the dragon tattoo, wanting to join in on all the action.

I don't know how, but Takemichi's bravery encouraged our members to fight, while the other Valhalla guys were standing like deer in headlights.

Draken mentioned something about wanting to beat Hanma himself, so I'll leave him be. But, the same can't be said for the other losers!
