2006:
"Quiet down!" Draken yelled, quelling the crowd. "Pay attention, everybody! The first Toman meeting of the year is now in session!"
Oh, this meeting is going to be amazing! Obviously, I had snitched to Mikey about Kisaki, but it turned out that Chifuyu had said something to him as well. Kisaki's reign over Toman can't happen if he's booted.
"For years now, Toman has been the mortal enemy of the Black Dragon gang, though recently we entered a truce with them," he continued. "And that truce has been broken due to a violent conflict between brothers. Our Second Division vice-captain, Hakkai Shiba, and the leader of the Black Dragon, Taiju Shiba. Then, because of independent actions taken by the three leaders of First Division, Second Division captain (Mitsuya Takashi), vice-commander (Y/n) (L/n), and eventually Mikey and I became involved, with the end result that Taiju Shiba and all of Black Dragon were defeated! Now, some of our members would like to address us about their roles in that. Come forward and speak, Hakkai Shiba!"
The blue-haired boy stepped forward, placing himself in between Draken and I. "This started entirely because of me. I told everyone a selfish lie, and to maintain that lie, I dragged you, my whole Toman family, into a fight that was mine alone. It almost turned into a war, a war that could've cost many of you your lives, and I am solely to blame." He closed his eyes, as he bowed to the crowd. "So now, I apologize to all of you!"
Various hushed conversations popped up through the crowd, as people were trying to figure out what exactly happened.
It makes sense that they're confused; it's not like a lot of Toman members were there.
Mucho stepped forward, smiling. "Hakkai, don't worry about that crap, man. Who gives a shit how a fight starts? Only thing that matters is who wins in the end."
"And in the end, Black Dragon got their asses kicked!" Nahoya added. "So, everything's good. Am I right or what?"
After more of our members in the crowd shouted that it wasn't his fault, Hakkai stood back up, taller than ever. "Thank you!"
"Hakkai!" Mitsuya called out. "To state the obvious here, you'll remain the vice-captain of the Second Division. That is if y'all agree!"
As a "Hakkai" chant arose, everyone made it clear where they stood with the guy.
It's heartwarming to see how we all always have each other's backs in the end... Well, almost everyone.
"Next up, Seishu Inui, Hajime Kokonoi, forward!" I commanded.
The two boys, from the gang who had just lost against us, stepped forward, still clad in their Black Dragon attire.
"As you can see, I'm from Black Dragon," the blonde introduced. "I'm Seishu Inui."
"I'm Hajime Kokonoi from Black Dragon. Tenth generation Black Dragon leader, Taiju Shiba has been forcibly retired from that position. Inui and I have taken over and now represent the eleventh generation."
"Talking with Mikey has led us to a new agreement," Inui revealed. "Black Dragon will now become a part of Toman!"
"The new members will be assigned to First Division's Takemichi Hanagaki!" Mikey announced. "Got that, Takemitchy?"
The entire First Division was astonished, not expecting this turn of events.
Takemichi isn't the best fighter, so maybe it's for the best that a little muscle is added to his division. I recall the two talking about how they only follow the strong at the fight, and since Takemichi was able to endure Taiju's wrath, I'd say that they actually want to follow him.
