2017:
A fit of coughing escaped from my mouth as I regained consciousness, and feeling of the sharp pain in my abdomen.
Placing a hand over my wound, I felt the bandages, which were wrapped around my torso.
I was rescued?
As I tilted my head to the side, I noticed that Takemichi was there as well; his leg was wrapped too, leading me to believe that Kisaki shot him.
"I saved both of your lives."
I smiled, at the familiarity of the voice. Kazutora stood with his backs to us, as the breeze blew through his long hair.
"Thanks for the save," I nodded.
Kazutora, Chifuyu, Katsumi, and I have been working together to destroy Kisaki. Wait... where is Chifuyu?
The black-haired male stumbled as he stood up. "Been a long time since-"
Cutting him off, the man with black and blonde hair punched Takemichi in the cheek, over and over again, before kicking him to the ground.
"Why are you doing this?!" He cried.
"You know why?!" Kazutora aggressively growled. "Cause the other day, I saw a bunch of guys beating the crap out of some girl the same way. When I jumped in to break it up and save her ass, they said they were members of the Tokyo Manji Gang! When did your great Toman turn into a gang that beats women?! I don't give a shit about scum like you!" He teared up, as he shoved his hands into his pockets and looked over at the river. "All this time, I only wanted to save Chifuyu and (Y/n)."
-Two Years Ago-
A man with short, black hair exited through the prison gates, keeping his head down low. It had been ten years since he's been outside of the building, and he didn't expect to see Chifuyu, Katsumi, and I in a car, waiting for him.
Chifuyu honked the horn of his car. "Long time no see, Kazutora!"
"No way..."
"Need a ride?" Katsumi offered.
The newly freed man accepted our offer, getting into the back seat, next to me.
"Thought you might wanna know that Toman's gone to shit," I explained. "We're just unethical criminals who the police can't get a hold of."
"We want to turn Toman back to the way it was," Chifuyu explained. "You wanna help us?"
-End Flashback-
"All this time, the three of them have been fighting alone, while you haven't been doing a goddamn thing to help!" Kazutora frowned. "Katsumi was killed a few months ago, and now Chifuyu..."
"He's dead?!" I gasped.
"I'm sorry, I didn't make it in time."
"So, we're the only ones left now," I muttered.
A few tears slipped down my cheeks.
At least he'll be reunited with his fiance now.
"Toman got so big, that it's lost its way," the man with the lion tattoo ranted. "But, that doesn't forgive you for turning into a bunch of lackeys for Kisaki. Draken and (Y/n) were our only hope, but he ended up on death row, and-"
"I couldn't reason with Mikey, and now he's disappeared," I finished.
I couldn't save my friends, let alone my own husband.
