Dheeran glanced behind me, and I followed his gaze to see Dev approaching us. "What are you two up to?" Dev inquired.

Thinking quickly, I replied, "Ramya wanted to discuss something with me, so he asked for my number." Dev nodded, seemingly satisfied with the explanation. Dheeran smiled before bidding us goodbye and leaving. Dev and I returned to the office room, taking our seats. KK glanced at me, and I returned his gaze with a smile. He smiled back and resumed his work on the laptop, creating a pleasant and focused atmosphere in the room.

"KK," Dev called out to him.

"You mentioned having a meeting somewhere today, right?" Dev asked, seeking clarification.

KK looked up from his laptop and responded, "No, there's no meeting today. The project managers have a scheduled meeting tomorrow." KK then resumed his work, focusing on his laptop screen.

I glanced at Dev, and he returned my gaze. To communicate silently, I mimicked the action of opening a book with my hands, indicating a need for secrecy or privacy. Dev responded by mouthing some words without making any sound.

Confused, I frowned and mimicked his words silently, attempting to understand what he was trying to convey. He repeated his silent words, and I managed to catch "what" and "you" from his lip movements. I mimicked those words back to him. Suddenly, we heard a laughter sound, and both of us turned to face KK.

"What are you two doing?" KK asked, a grin spreading across his face.

 Dev quickly responded, "Nothing."

I shrugged, feeling slightly embarrassed by our failed attempt at silent communication. KK chuckled at our exchange and returned to his work, leaving us to our tasks. I looked at Dev, noticing his subtle eye movements to the right side. I followed his gaze and raised my eyebrows, silently prompting him to continue. He then shifted his eyes to a corner of the room and tilted his head slightly. I rolled my eyes, slightly amused by our covert communication attempts.

Curiosity piqued, I moved closer to Dev and whispered into his left ear, "What are you saying?"

He reciprocated by whispering into my right ear, "Go to that room, I'll join you."

His warm breath tickled my ears, causing a shiver to run down my spine and goosebumps to form on my skin. Before we could respond, KK interjected with a playful remark, "I guess leaving you two alone at the beach had some effect, huh?" He chuckled, insinuating a romantic connection.

I quickly defended our intentions, saying, "It's not like that." KK smiled knowingly and nodded, understanding our need for privacy. Sighing, I stood up and faced KK.

"Can I go into that room?" I requested.

KK seemed intrigued and asked, "Yes, but why?"

I replied firmly, "I need to talk privately with Dev."

Dev kicked my leg, and I shot him a glare in response. Trying to clarify, he added, "We have something to discuss that shouldn't be heard by others."

KK nodded, understanding our need for discretion. "Alright, go ahead," KK granted us permission to proceed.

I entered the room, aware that it was the same room where the fatebook had been kept before. Dev followed behind me, swiftly closing the door. "Don't let anyone come in here," Dev instructed KK, emphasizing the need for privacy. I turned to face Dev, confusion evident on my face. He placed a finger on his lips, signaling for silence.
