Chapter 28

Astra:

I was walking up to UA's doors with Keigo on Christmas Eve, carrying gifts in my hands. As we stepped inside, I saw pros, teachers, and students all talking and relaxing. The atmosphere seemed festive and warm, as everyone was enjoying themselves. I was excited to see what Christmas Eve at UA held in store for me.

I spotted Aizawa and All Might. They both looked over and greeted me warmly.
"Astra! Happy Christmas Eve," Aizawa said, as we exchanged hugs.
"Merry Christmas, Astra!" All Might chimed in, with a big smile.
"I brought gifts. Can I give them to you guys?" I asked them.
"Of course, Astra! We'd be thrilled," Aizawa replied, as All Might nodded in agreement.
"Thank you," I said, as I handed them their gifts.

As I continued walking around, I saw Denki, Bakugo, Kirishima, and Shinso approaching me.
"Hey, Astra!" Denki exclaimed, giving me a high-five.
"Oi, Astra," Bakugo said, with his usual brashness.
"Hey, Astra," Kirishima chimed in, with a big smile.
"How's it going, Astra?" Shinso asked me.

As I conversed with the boys, I casually asked them about their classes and how they were doing.
"How's class been for you guys?" I started.
"It's been fine, I guess," Shinso responded, glancing around.
"Aizawa's still giving us a hard time," Denki added, with a laugh.
"But we're hanging in there, no problem!" Kirishima chimed in, giving me a thumbs up.

"Katsuki, how have things been for you in your classes?" I asked him, as he looked up from his phone.
"It's been good. No complaints," he responded, with his typical brashness.
"How's it going in the combat department?" I continued.
"Just killing it." Bakugo said with a smirk.
"I'm not surprised," I replied, with a laugh.

After a few more moments of chatting and catching up, we all headed off toward different directions.

I walked over to Izuku and Mirio, where they were helping Eri put some ornaments on the Christmas tree. Along with them was a kid who wore a red hat with gold spike-shaped horns on the front and red high-top sneakers similar to Izuku's. It took me a moment to process who it was, but I soon realized that it was Kota Izumi.

"Hey, Izuku!" I said, popping the ball on his green Santa hat.
"Hey, Astra," he smiled warmly back at me.
I laughed as Eri jumped from Mirío's arms onto mine.
"Astra! I missed you!" Eri cheered. I noticed Kota was silent.
I bent down with Eri still in my arms.
"And you must be Kota, correct?" I asked him, and he nodded.
"Well, it's nice to meet you. I am Astra Wilder."

I watched as Kota smiled shyly at me, and then Eri grabbed him by the arm, leading him away.
I turn to Mirio and Izuku. "Five bucks says they both get married one day."
Mirio laughs. "I'll take you on that bet, All For Knowledge."
"You're on!" I respond as we all chuckle.
I watch as Eri leads Kota toward the kitchen to grab some cookies.

I saw Present Mic walk over toward me, and he was dressed in his usual quirky ensemble. This was certainly a surprise, and I couldn't help but smile at his ridiculous outfit. I turned my attention toward him.
"Hey, Present Mic!" I greeted him.
"Oh, hello, Astra!" He said in his usual loud and enthusiastic tone. He then proceeded to tell me about some of the wacky antics he's been up to as of late. I couldn't help but laugh at the stories he shared. Present Mic is truly a character.

I spotted Mina running up to me, alongside Jiro and Momo. They were all wearing Christmas hats and scarves. Mina came up to me and hugged me tight.
"Astra, my sweet friend! It's been too long since we've seen one another," Mina said, her warmth and enthusiasm contagious.
Jiro and Momo joined in the group hug behind her and cheered, "Oh my god, Astra!"

They laughed and released me from the hug, and we all stood together for a moment. "It's been way too long since we've seen one another," Jiro said.

We all stood together for a moment, catching up and sharing laughs. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Shoto walking over to where we were standing.
"Hi, guys," he said, his tone and expression neutral.
"Shoto! Didn't expect you to be a social person!"
Shoto shrugged. "Just wanted to say hello."
