ACT TWO
INT. KIA'S HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - NIGHT (N2)
With clenched fists, Darnell scowls at Senior and Dante. Kia strokes his arm and tries to calm him down. Senior pushes Dante' toward Darnell.
SENIOR
--Well, don't just stand there... Hug your brother, son.
DARNELL
(jaw tightens)
Ain't gonna be no damn family reunion.
DANTE
Your bastard ain't no brother of mine.
A beat. Dante shifts his focus to Kia with a smug look.
DANTE
Hey... Kia. Miss me?
Within a flash, Darnell jerks away from Kia and wraps his hands around Dante's neck. He pins him against the wall and tightens his grip. Senior lets out a sinister laugh and Dante desperately tries to break free.
DARNELL
Did you honestly think I was just gonna let you get away with putting yo hands on my woman?
(a beat)
I'm bout to snap your fucking neck. And I'm gonna enjoy it.
A long beat. Kia tries to pull Darnell off Dante.
KIA
No, Darnell... He's not worth it.
(Darnell's hold stiffens)
Darnell, stop! You're gonna kill him.
Dante starts to fade. Kia looks at Senior with disgust and shoves him.
KIA
Are you crazy? Do something!
SENIOR
(smirks)
Oh, no... This is between my boys.
The door opens. Kia's Uncle FLIP strolls in with three MUSCLE MEN. Two of them surround Senior. Kia looks to Flip with pleading eyes. Stop this, please.
Flip rests his hands on Darnell's shoulder.
FLIP
A'ight, nephew... You made your point.
(a beat)

A beat. Darnell releases his hold and consoles a visibly shaken Kia leaving Dante desperately gasping for air.
FLIP
(to Kia)
Don't cry, Angel Face... Everything will be just fine.
Flip's eyes turn cold as they shift to Dante and Senior.
FLIP
Time to take a ride.
INT. ABANDONED WAREHOUSE - LA - NIGHT (N2)
Bloodied and badly beaten, Dante and Senior sit tied up with their backs to each other as two MUSCLE MEN pulverize them.
