"Thank you for allowing us to see the orphanage, Joss." Nine said as he shook hands with the orphanage's owner who was also the benefactor. However, despite of Joss' genuine intention to help the children in needs, he was curious about how Joss managed to afford it at such young age. Did Joss have someone who could assist him with the money? Did he also engage in illegal business? Most of the bodyguards Joss hired, appeared fairly frightening, as if they had lived dangerous lives. He wouldn't want his sister to be with Joss if he, too, had a dark life that they were unaware of.

"It's great to have you all here." Joss responded with a broad smile.
"I'm sorry about what happened earlier." Violette apologized for her rudeness.
"It's okay. You have made peace with Mew. So, you are forgiven, Phi." Joss replied.
"Does this mean....the deal is off?" Eisaya queried in whisper. "I don't have to sacrifice my life to you, right?"
Joss sighed. "It's all up to you." He responded. His smile faded as he moved to Eisaya's other siblings.
Eisaya saw that. She felt horrible for being the cause of it. But it was too late to take it back.
"Err...where is Phi Tha?" Asked Jaylerr, observing the perimeter, but he couldn't find his brother anywhere.
