My date with Blake ended incredible, I can't believe I'm going to say this but I'm looking forward to another one.
After the circus we went for lunch. And then he took me home, honestly I don't care about the trouble I would get for skipping school; it was totally worth it and I would do it again. Now what I had to plan was my date with Blake tomorrow. My plan was just having fun with him. Being a rich spoil child he has probably seen everything on the world so the only thing that I can give to him is a little bit of fun and being carefree.
"Carrie? Honey is that you?" My mom asked from what I suppose is the kitchen.
"no, it's the aliens ready to abduct you" I said with a playful tone, going down the stairs to meet her.
"Oh then please take Carrie first; she has that personality that should bond with you easy"
"funny mom, very funny" I said with sarcasm.
She smiled before tuning serious "so are you going to tell me what you are doing at home at 12:30 on a school day?"
I smiled sheepishly "I was making sure the plants grew the right way?" Ugh I really have to practice on my excuses.
"Carrie you have never been able to give good excuses, so let's save valuable time here and tell me the truth" my mom said with a stern voice.
I took a deep breath before telling my mom; knowing she would make a big deal about the date thing "Blake took me to the circus for our date thing project, and then we went to eat"
My mom was smiling like a Cheshire cat "oh Carrie, that's amazing, you love the circus, and I knew Blake would make a wonderful couple with you-"
I interrupted her "wow. Mom stop right there, Blake and I aren't a couple we just went on a date because of this whole marriage project. Ok? "
"Ok, but just answer one thing. Did you like it?"
"Yes, I had a great time but don't you dare say a word "I said groaning
"I wasn't" my mom told me, but the glint in her eyes said otherwise.
"You're impossible why can't you just be mad at me for missing school instead of happy for being with Blake?"
She chuckled " sorry hon. But what you see is what you get"
I just laughed at her. "Sometimes I wonder if I got my craziness from you"
"Nope, that's exclusively yours. Now go and call for Chinese. I don't feel like cooking today"
When the food arrived we gather on the table to talk about our days and some new project my mom was assigned at work.
"Ok mom. Goodnight. Tomorrow I will be going on my date with Blake, so don't expect me for lunch. Call one of your friends ok?"
She rolled her eyes "Carrie don't worry about me, I'll just call Mel. Have a good time ok. Oh and I want to hear all about it when you come back; your relationship with Blake is even better than a soap opera"
"Ugh. Sometimes I wonder who's worst Liz or you." I said while walking up the stairs toward my room.
Sleep came easily, and soon I was in dream land.
