“The integral that we have displayed on the board can be done by doing partial fractions. But remember you must factorize otherwise you won’t be able to find the correct case"

As my calculus teacher continued explaining the best way to find the integral I looked over to where Blake was, the day we spent in the recording room had been engraved on my head I couldn’t seem to let it to. He talked like he truly believed in love, like he wouldn´t mind taking the risk; but even if part of me wanted to think it was me who he wanted to fall with, the rational part of my brain told me those were only illusions.

Blake was talking to a girl whose name I couldn't remember or more like she was trying to have a conversation. He was always talking to someone. The king on the social ladder and that was the sole reason why I haven’t been able to find this girl Blake mentioned he liked, he was always surrounded by so many, yet none of them seemed special to him. Not that I care.

Okay, maybe a tiny tinny little bit, but it's not like we will be together so better let him be happy. Knowing who he likes is mare curiosity. Anyway I've never known a girl who has been his girlfriend, so knowing his type of ideal girl is kind of hard.

“Carrie, you're staring" Matt said poking my cheek from behind me.

“Am not. I was simply siring into space lost in my own thoughts" I replied blushing.

“Right, don’t worry your secret is safe with me. Even if it’s really obvious" Matt said enjoying my discomfort.

I never told Matt about Blake, but somehow by my actions he found out, I guess I´m pretty obvious for everyone except Blake. Or Matt just knows me pretty well.

“Yeah right; like when you told me you wouldn’t tell my mom about the broken vase and just by hearing her steps you blurted everything"

“Hey! She's very intimidating" he said shivering at the memory “at that time I thought that you could turn into stone with one look"

I couldn't help to laugh loud enough to attract the whole class attention.

“Is there something you would like to share Miss Montgomery?" my calculus teacher asked me with a pointed look.

"No. I’m sorry for the interruption"

The rest of calculus class passed as boring as ever. The only thing that I noticed was that Blake was no longer talking to the girl, and she was looking at him with a small pout on her face, which had me guessing she wasn't the girl he liked.

That thought alone brought a smile on my face, maybe he doesn't like anyone right now and he was only playing?

Ugh why am I interested in this, I shouldn’t even care. As soon as the class ended I gathered my notebooks and left the classroom trying to run away from any more Blake thoughts. Seriously I may have a crush but I´m not obsessed.

“Hey sweetheart" Blake said appearing on the hallway beside me, catching up to my pace “The councilors requested a meeting after lunch, so we could talk about our next assignment"

“If I have to feed a pig or go to a farm I quit" I said only half joking, seriously these assignments seem worst and more outrageous every time I think about them.
