Maya: She stayed at carinas last night I messed up.

Lane: Well I figured I'd stop by and see my daughter the captain in action. What was that that about?
Maya: I- I'm sorry there's been a lot going on and I have to go but just hang here until I get back.

Maya: Listen Mia I know your upset bet please just don't go to the station dad's there.

Back at the station
Mia: Carina I really don't want to go in.
Carina: Bambina I have to go to the hospital okay just hang out with the others and avoid Maya if you have to. I will come back and pick you up as soon as I can.

Mia sits in silence and Lane drives to the fire location.
Lane: Theres my girl being boss.
Mia: MAYA!!!!
Maya: Mia get back behind the tape look go sit near that tree okay but stay on that side of the tape its not safe, GO.
Lane: NO! she stays with me i can't trust her.
Maya: Dad what are you and her doing here.
Lane: Well she wants to stay with you and I want her to come home so I saw you on the news and I wanted to watch you actually do something and thought we could ask you about this whole living situation.
Maya: Dad you cant- I can't do this now.
Lane: Then don't, don't dad me go do something captain, I'll watch Mia, she is my daughter after all.
Maya: You're not allowed near her.
Lane: Who else is going to watch her you can't and no one else can.
Maya: Mia I'll wrap this up as soon as I can. Whispers He's not going to do anything in public maybe here is the best place.
Maya goes back to work. 20 minutes later.

Maya: Dad i am in charge and I am ordering you to leave my scene.

Lane pulls maya's hair, people step into help.
Maya: Get your hands off of me.
Mia: MAYAAA!!!
Maya: Mia it okay im okay stay with that nice police officer you can ride back in the engine with us once were done.
Lane: Oh yeah oh you need your big strong men to fight your battles.
Maya: N- No dad i don't, I don't need to win my gold medals through other people. Unlike you I win them myself. Arrest him he's not supposed to be anywhere near Mia. I'm fine everyone back to work.
The team come out.
Maya: Why are we carrying rodents 19.
Jack: Because were saving the lives of untold millions.

Maya: Haha you are the firehouse dad.

Back at the station Mia and Maya are in the bathroom.

Mia: Its oaky he helped you win a gold medal thats all you see him as in your eyes.
Maya: I really messed up with Carina huh?
Mia: Uhmmm, I think it could be salvaged i even have an idea... w- what are you doing? Oh Maya come here. Mia and Maya sit on the floor and hug.
