All around me was a dark forest that seemed to never end as I walked through it. It was like years had passed as all I saw was trees that no matter how I kept looking at, were moving closer? No, that doesn't make sense, trees don’t move, period. But blinking about a billion times, proved that It was indeed possible or I was somehow drunk, but never had I ever done drugs in my life. So what was happening. If they started to grow closer, I would no longer see the path in front of me, bounding to be lost in this never ending forest. I began to walk faster, which turned into a full out sprint. A light appeared only about 10 yards ahead. I sighed in relief and ran even faster. But as I ran faster, the trees were already being glued together... NO! The Light! I had a feeling if I didn’t get there in time, I would be stuck here forever. Tears streamed down my face as I sprinted harder and the muscles in my calf and thighs started to burn. When I could see it again, I thought I would make it, as it was only a couple feet away-

“Ellebear! Mari!”

My head whipped around and my hair blonde hair flew around me.

That voice.

It was-

“Mari, wake up!”

I groaned and threw my arms about. “Go away....” I twisted around in the soft bed sheets I lay in and sighed in contempt as I started to drift back into a leisurely sleep once more...

“Marielle.” The voice had warned and interrupted my sleep again. My head lifted a few inches above the pillow it rested on and caught the sight of green eyes staring down at me. My eyebrows shot up to where my hair line started. I was completely awake now, and searched the room for anyone else, thinking something was wrong as he was in my room.

“What are you doing here? You are supposed to be-”

“Yeah, I know. In Washington, but I decided to stay here with you.” He gave me a sweet smile and reached out to touch my cheeks. “So soft.”

I giggled at this and pushed him away, and he growled playfully. “Ray! Get out of my room, I need to change!” I tried running into the hallway to get to the bathroom, but Ray had caught me in his big strong warm arms.

“And where are you running off to kitten?”

“To the bathroom, to get way from you!” I squealed in a fit of giggles. Ray's booming laugh filled the room as he spun us around in circles, making both of dizzy.

After a while of just staring at each other, Ray spoke up in that yummy deep voice he always had. Oh my mate was so hot! My eyes must have turned a dark color, because Ray's eyes turned a deep black filled with lust and desire.
